Answer:	Not that I know of! We never tried. The only problem we have is that it will not move very well on carpet and sometimes not at all. I just purchased another set from a different vendor that seems like they really work but my house flooded for aharvey and Ismelda so I will not get them out soon. My husband is a Marine vet he served for 42 years and he was in tracts so he was so excited but they quit working and I really hope it is due to carpet. I bought the other set from Laugh it up a man from Winnie Texas.

I suppose if you'll be removing the turret or some of the insides, it would shave off a little weight, but I wouldn't expect it to be operational with any more than a pound.
