Answer:	I don't think so. Wi-Fi will work even if you're not connected to the wireless public network.

FAQ & Troubleshooting:

1. Camera doesn't work:

Please follow the instruction about 'Connection Description' on page 3, if the camera fail to be connectted, please try to re-install the app.

2. Camera Port & Battery Port (as picture):

The port next to the power switch is for camera, not for charging.

There are two ports in battery compartment. One is the male port of the battery and the other female is the port of the drone.

3. One of the Motors or Propellers doesn't work:

Please try to check the motors and gears condition. If the motor gear was no longer aligned with the gear for the propeller, please fixed by pressing down on the propeller until the gears realigned. If the motor was defective, we are willing to send replacement.

4. The drone keeping moving in one direction:

Please refer to 'Fine-tuning operation' instruction, try to adjust the quadcopter by pressing on the fine-tuning button. Or, it might be that the motor was damaged.

5. The motors and circuit board may be heat after use. Please take a 10mins break to let them cool down between flights to ensure the drone last as long as possible.

In this instance they are talking about WiFi. 5G WiFi is just 5 gigahertz or 5 Ghz, also known as 802.11n or 802.11ac, and has been around for many years. If you have a phone that was produced in the last 4-5 years, it should be compatible with 5 GHz WiFi (there are some exceptions). 5G cell service on the other hand is VERY new, and almost no phones have it (as of late 2019). Unless you paid $1500 for your phone, you don't have 5G cell service, but the good news is that you don't need it for this product.

Answer:	Absolutely recommend this product. My 8 year-old learned to fly it in 20 minutes. It's very small, so I don't mind him flying it in the house. Battery life is about 8 minutes.
Question:	Some reviewes said it flew away (kept going up). Is there a defect in the product to be aware of
Answer:	You would need to open the back of the drone and then unsolder the drained battery and solder in the charged battery. There is no room for quick connectors either. Personally it is not worth the time and effort to change the battery. Besides, it is best to let the motors and control board cool between charges anyways.

Answer:	TBS has nothing to do with gimbals. There are the potentiometer gimbals and hall gimbals. Hall gimbals use magnetic sensors therefore nothing to wear out and by nature move more freely. The TBS module has to do with transmission signals. TBS has the "T" antenna that fits in the box on the back of the radio.

Question:	Can i connect this camera to my computer with a usb
Answer:	I have just purchased two of these (Elph 180). The first thing I noticed is that Canon has not improved the access door (battery/ sd card slot) in the many years since I had my first point& shoot Canon. (I have a canon rebel too - different story) The reason I am telling you this is that I urge you to buy a cable to download your shots, and clear the SD card from your camera. Every time you open and shut this little door, the weaker it becomes. Eventually you will be forced to tape the door shut to use the camera. I did this for years because I loved the camera. Finally I just got tired of it and bought the rebel. If the only time you have to open the door is to charge the battery, you will extend the usable life of the door HUGELY. As with most technology today, it's longevity depends on its weakest point. One of the two I purchased is for a 12 yr. old - I bought cables for both of us. My opinion: It's worth it because Canon still makes the best lenses.
Question:	Does this have an automatic shutoff If I forget to turn it off
Answer:	I don`t think so. But you`ll know if it`s on. When it`s on, the lens moves way out. When it`s off, it retracts, so the camera is flat. It would be very hard to forget to turn the camera off, or forget you left it on.

Answer:	Does this camera come with a charger? It says it comes with a rechargeable battery but it isn’t saying anything about a charger. And from looking at other people’s comments I’m thinking it doesn’t come with a charger. So if not then what are you suppose to do cause it’s not regular batteries it’s the rectangle flat battery
Question:	I notice the usb cable has to be purchased separately. does this camera require any special type of usb cable

FAQ & Troubleshooting

1.Doesn't take off

Please fully charge the battery before flight.

2.The top rotor refuses to spin/helicopter would not lift off

The screws that hold the blade holder and the outer hollow shaft are loose. Make sure the screws that hold the blade holder and the outer hollow shaft are aligned and tight with the inner shaft.

3.The controls do not work right.

Please change new batteries and set the band selector on the remote and the helicopter to the same frequency；

There is the same remote frequency interference nearby. Place your RC helicopter in a fairly open area.

4.The on/off switch on the helicopter broke off when turning it back off after using it the very first time.

On/off switch is fragile, push too hard when turning it back off

5.Battery would not hold a charge even when it was charged for over an hour longer than necessary.

Charging port/charging cable/battery is defective. We offer replacement.
