Answer: C rating usually refers to the maximum safe discharge rate of a cell. In my experience it doesn’t usually play into Ni batteries for RC because they taper off during discharge. More important for LiPo setups

Answer: Yes it can be. You will need a 50 amp breaker for a generator this size and make sure the power supply cord is rated for 50 amps also.
