If your battery is a 1600mAh capacity, that means you can run an electronic device drawing 1600mAh for 1 hour before your battery is exhausted. The same thing applies to charging. Answer:	The Tenergy charger works fine. It takes a long time to charge economic batteries, about 6-8 hours. This is normal for chargers that are not computer controlled.

Answer:	It's a male end, but the actual metal prongs inside are female. If the metal prongs on the battery are male, it will work. One side has a square hole and the other an arch like shape.
