Answer:	Not really. I bought these magnifying glasses to help me paint Warhammer models. The lenses magnify very well. However, you can only see the working location with one eye. The other eye will be staring at something well away from the spot you want to paint. The inability to focus on a point is not only distracting, it destroys depth perception. You can see what you want to paint, but you have a heck of a time telling how far your brush is from the surface. I gave it an afternoon of effort and gave up. I can do just as well with a single eye loupe. I'm now looking for another solution.

Answer:	Thank you for your question. If it is only used for daily reading and painting, then the low-power eyepiece is sufficient. But please note that this magnifying glass cannot be used for both eyes at the same time, it can only be used for one eye. Thank you.
Question:	I would like to use this to paint models, would they work for this
Answer:	No; not unless you LIKE holding a lens at arm's length to see through it, and see only about a thumbnail sized area. How you'd hold and paint at the same time is beyond me though, which is why I returned mine.

Answer:	Replacement lenses for this product come as either glass or acrylic plastic. This particular visor comes with a glass lens. If you need to replace the lens or would like to try a different power, then check carefully what you are buying because the many choices make it a little confusing. The plastic lenses will be cheaper in price, but both are listed as high quality lenses.
Question:	its show the magnifer over the right eye. can it be used over the left eye
Answer:	I'd bet your problem is the washer just under the knurled knob has a square hole in it. It must fit over the square part of the shank that the knurled knob screws onto. It is a tight fit and requires some fiddling to get it to line up. Maybe ask a friend to hold tension down on the washer assembly while you line up the square base of the shank into the square hole in the final washer and screw the knurled knob onto the threaded end of the shank. Be sure you have not lost the thin steel curved washers that give tension to the visor for raising and lowering it while you are wearing it.
Question:	Can I use this to give myself a pedicure
Answer:	I suspect that it may NOT be very comfortable wearing the OptiVisor while laying on back for long periods. There is a protruding knob on the back of the strap, to fit the headband, that sticks out about 1/4" (Not very visible from the photo) and two knobs on the sides to adjust the position of lenses. It may be OK if you need to wear it for a short while.

Answer:	They provide a track so that it slides farther away or back closer to your eyes! If you have already tried this and it didn’t work, try moving the head band up ot down to a comfortable spot and tighten while still on your head! It may take some tweeking to get it right,

The good thing is that letting the headband rest for long intervals will not damage the battery.Here is another thing: When the lens is flipped down, it often rests on my nose, leaving a red line. Today I filed the nose area deeper (higher up so the lens does not touch the nose). MUCH BETTER! On the headband, I miss a less slippery surface at the back so it does not so easily slide forward an d pushes the lens down and out of position. With all these shortcomings I think this is a great product that can be adjusted as described here.
