Answer:	From Wikipedia, you can find the following formula for magnification power: [MA] = (25cm)/(f) + 1 Solving for f, you would need a focal length of 8.6mm. Magnifying glasses only work if the object is closer than one focal length. This would make the magnifying glass completely impractical, and is quite obviously not true. Summary: it's not possible to have a single lens that can magnify at 30x and be of any practical use.

If you've never used one you've probably seen people in movies looking at diamonds with a big monocle in one eye and a diamond an inch or two from his face.

Anything higher magnification and you won't be able to use both lenses at the same time. If you are looking for a pair of glasses that will let you do that, good luck. Because, you know, physics and stuff. You get a crud load of loupes that let you go hands free and don't have to squnich your eye around a plastic ring. It's a good deal.

Short Focus Distance 0.2 - 2 inch

Comfort was fine,not to heavy for your face , used them for working on minature toys and and hobbies , able to see inside a whole less than a millimeter in diameter to align it with another hole less than half a millimeter and get them aligned to within 0.02mm.

Bracket and headband is interchangeable to each other

As for common bracket-type eye patch magnifier , eye patches will easily fall off during use beacuse the LED light source on eye patches is relatively heavy . Answer:	I think the numbers are in diopters rather than magnification power. This is additive to the diopter measurement of your eye (which changes with age) so if your eye currently is capable of 1.0 diopter, you add this to that to get a new strength of 2.0 diopters. So yes all of these lenses do indeed magnify.

Answer:	They will slowly fade. Mine didn’t last a full eight hours but doesn’t take long to recharge.

Answer:	They work well with my bifocals; so I don't see why not. I use them for sewing, for crafts, at the piano and at the computer (the latter two things, with bifocals, keep me from having to tip my head up and getting a sore neck while I'm working). All I can say is give them a try. Clip-on magnifiers release me from holding on to a magnifying glass. I don't know if they are equal to or better than a free-standing magnifier that lots of craft and sewing people use. But they're very handy and don't require the space that that sort of thing needs.

Answer:	It depends on your eyes and their vision. The worse your vision, the higher strength you’ll need. I use them for needlepoint, paint-by-numbers, and reading extremely small print. The 4.0 is perfect for me, but 6.0 is too strong and everything is blurry. Go to a drug store and try on the OTC readers, putting one pair on top of another and see what works best for you.
