Answer:	Dear Customer, it is 30x magnifying glass. When you use the magnifying, the distance between magnifying glass and books or others will affect the real magnifying looking.

Answer:	The product box shows "made in China." The product light is good, high intensity. But the product is heavier than similar devices.

Answer:	The product descriptions on says "Materials: ABS+Double Glass Lens." ABS is a thermoplastic polymer molded into the frame and handle, not the lens! I simply DO NOT understand why a couple of people replied with "acrylic lens" and "plastic."

Answer:	From Wikipedia, you can find the following formula for magnification power: [MA] = (25cm)/(f) + 1 Solving for f, you would need a focal length of 8.6mm. Magnifying glasses only work if the object is closer than one focal length. This would make the magnifying glass completely impractical, and is quite obviously not true. Summary: it's not possible to have a single lens that can magnify at 30x and be of any practical use.

Answer:	The best distance can be vary from person to person, generally, the best magnifying result would be anywhere from 2" to 4.5" above the objects/small prints, the point is to see objects/small prints clearly, some people see clearly and feel most comfortable for their eyes with distance 2.5" while other may find 3.5" to 4".

Answer:	It's not really a neck strap. There is a strap that goes around the back of your head to hold the glasses on. You take the little arms off that go behind your ears in order to use the strap.

Answer:	To remove a splinter maybe because it will be short time and it won’t matter if you have to have your project 2 inches from your face. If you want to know exactly how these are, just place a magnifying glass close to your eyes like regular reading glasses and see if you can repair anything. You are better off buying reading glasses that are very powerful. I just throw those that I bough in the garbage. My husband wasn’t able to give them any use!

If you've never used one you've probably seen people in movies looking at diamonds with a big monocle in one eye and a diamond an inch or two from his face.

Anything higher magnification and you won't be able to use both lenses at the same time. If you are looking for a pair of glasses that will let you do that, good luck. Because, you know, physics and stuff. You get a crud load of loupes that let you go hands free and don't have to squnich your eye around a plastic ring. It's a good deal.

Short Focus Distance 0.2 - 2 inch

Comfort was fine,not to heavy for your face , used them for working on minature toys and and hobbies , able to see inside a whole less than a millimeter in diameter to align it with another hole less than half a millimeter and get them aligned to within 0.02mm.

Bracket and headband is interchangeable to each other

As for common bracket-type eye patch magnifier , eye patches will easily fall off during use beacuse the LED light source on eye patches is relatively heavy . This product is extra installed with interchangeable headband which can effectively solve such as falling-off problem . Eye patches will not fll off despite of long working hours or too much work.

Lens Angle is Adjustable 180 Degree

Eye patches can move 5mm leftwards and right wards on the bracket . Face width and distance between left/right eyeballs can be adjusted to adapt to the central position of eye patches between both eyes.

Question:	Okay I am reading the response to can this be laid directly on the page and one answers yes and the other no, so which is it
Answer:	No, the directions state that it should be held above the page
Question:	I read that you need to hold this 3 inches from the page, it I do that is it sturdy enough so that it doesn't bend or flop
Answer:	My wife uses them to read a computer monitor in a vertical position an it works fine. If you plan on using it horizantal, I would suggest getting one with a framed border.
Question:	Is this pliable so that when holding it, it flops? Or is it rigid so that it does not bend
Answer:	it is not fully rigid. I have to hold a few inches above the page for the print to become clear and readable. easy to use.
Question:	Can this lay on the page i want to read or does it need to be held up away from the page a little
Answer:	NOT what i expected. You have to hold it a distance away from the book or paper in order to see it enlarged. When you lay it on the book or paper there is NO magnification. It is NOT what I expected.
