Answer: 2-3/8 inches long; 1-1/16 inches wide; 9/16 inches high (not counting the switch, which extends an additional 1/4 inch above the body of the switch).
Question: Can these be used for 12 volt applications
Answer: Lucy, it can be used on 12 gauge wire. I think it is designed for use on 14 gauge wire but I managed to thoroughly twist the strands of 12 gauge sufficiently to get them to fit under the circuit screws. If you don't twist the strands tightly and end up with a few errant strands, just snipping them off will work for everyday household electric devices. A few strands snipped off isn't a problem. I wouldn't leave the loose strands inside the switch though. If you're handy with a soldering iron (I am) you could solder all the strands together. I didn't find that necessary. I REALLY like this switch - it seems to be a notch better than the ones sold at the big box retail hardware stores. It's case is made of thicker plastic, it holds the wires more securely and the switch is nice and crisp with a solid feel when used and even it has an audible 'click'. Mine has been in use for a couple of months, has been stepped on by the kids and generally treated roughly with no adverse impact.

Answer: I ordered this for a friend so I do not have it on hand to take exact measurements. I believe it was about 2" long and about 1" wide. I intsalled it on a lamp cord for her I was impressed with the design-sturdy.

Answer: I doubt it. This switch seems to be made for 18 gauge, I don't think you'd be able to fit a larger gauge wire into the connector.
