Answer:	I believe they used the 1st version on Table Top. If so, then the game plays exactly the same and I wouldn't get the current edition. There are differences in the drawings on the cards, the disease pieces are now plastic and smaller instead of wood, and the board looks slightly different. Otherwise, the game is the same and not worth getting if you already have version 1. Instead, and if you haven't already, consider buying the expansions to make the game even more fun!

Answer:	I think 45-60 minutes with a strong team who knows the game is a good estimate. The first games with new players will take a while, even on easy, because there are a lot of little nuisances and details to learn... and if you're playing with a few different strong personalities, you may loose time to discussing the best tactics and strategies. When my husband and I play, 45 minutes is a good estimate, but we also work well together and know the rules of the game.

Answer:	The box says 8+, the Amazon description says 13-15. The expansions all are 13+, so maybe that's why Amazon is confused. We haven't played any of the expansions yet, but my 5yo and 8yo both love Pandemic. We got it shortly after the 5yo's birthday, and at first it was kind of frustrating at times when he'd insist on doing something completely illogical, but he's gotten better in the past half year. That said, he reads way above grade level, so 8+ is probably a better idea - you want the kid to be able to read the names of the cities, etc. I wouldn't buy the game if you only have kids under 8, unless they're profoundly gifted - we got it for the 8yo, and the 5yo just happened to be able to go along, but there are games that would be more suitable for his age - he isn't yet really able to strategize at the level needed for Pandemic. And really, saving the world can wait until the ripe old age of 8. ;)

Answer:	Having played this game (for the first time just yesterday), I really don't think that people will develop a "code". Kind of like Dixit, it is pretty free association for the images. Since the what, where, and who are random with a number of combinations and there are quite a few pictures, it will be very difficult to line up patterns all that much. I found it was pretty hard, in most cases, for the "ghost" to pick a good picture, so most of the selections were quite "out there". A lot of free association and using what other players were selecting to reduce the number of choices, it was a bit more possible to narrow things down.I believe that this will be a very replayable game but I also expect that after a few games, the players will get better at both picking pictures to associate and figuring out what the picture might mean, but not so much because of the selection of pictures but more because the thinking processes for both the ghost and the players will become more refine through learning how to pick.Overall, I find it to be a pretty good game.DaveBoardgames4us

Players triangulate where the Jack player is based on where he has been. Sometimes there is only one solution. Pure logic. Mysterium's gameplay is all about INDUCTIVE reasoning. There can be more than one possible solution and gameplay is about getting inside another player's head to understand the solution they chose. Both Fabulous games. Mysterium is more accessible and family friendly. Non-gamers can get into it right away, while Whitechapel is more demanding. Whitechapel is more similar to Fury of Dracula, another great game that has just been republished.

I'm hoping for an expansion pack by Christmas that aren't so sexual to make a great game for family game night.

Answer:	It is a great game for all ages of 7 to 100. If you have teams you can have as many teams as you want with several people on a team. We. Played one time with seven people and had an odd number on one team and two on each of the other teams. Stick to the directions and have a good time. We laughed and laughed at trying to beat the others. Silly fun.

Answer:	Probably not- this is played in groups and adults can help along the younger… However, my 15-year-old was grateful to have college kids/adults playing with himself, he could not feel in adequate.

Answer:	In teams of two- first round: you describe a word (without using off limit hints!) and The team has to guess… The second round (I believe..I’m trying to remember the order?! but, either way- you will end up doing a total of x3 types of guessing!) so, 2nd round Team has to guess the correct word by only giving x1 description word... (sort of flip flops from the former round.. and it gets trickier!!) the final round: One person can act out the word-charade style! We have played this with teen/college/adult family and absolutely had a riot! I will tell you… We tweaked the rules to fit our liking (probably why I’m having a hard time remembering exact spec’s of the game.. and I’m sorry!) BUT, we have had some of the funniest laughs playing this game… You don’t need a whole lot of talent, I would say best setting is less distractions (i.e. no one on their phone, tv on, etc..) if you can get everyone on same page- The weaker links are pulled into a group… So, they don’t stand out! I say this because we have a 15yr old who always hates games where he feels “less then..” if that makes sense?! Group play allows everyone involved to be part of and feel adequate and have fun! My college kiddos play this with a couple of drinks… And when a team loses they add a drinking rule- not how we play at home- but, still a lot of fun! Gave it for a gift last holidays and we played it a handful of times… Sort of a mixup of standard charades+taboo with easy ability to restructure as needed! if you like gaming with family/group- it’s a great addition to have! (I will say- a quick practice round sort of putting instructions into play is easiest way to let all grasp the concept.. that’s our family life hack with games!! Answer:	Yes. 98% of these memes are really tired and were popular over the last couple years. If you frequent Reddit or imgur you will find all of these stale. I just ordered and flipped through the whole pack and am pretty disappointed ( I'm a once-daily imgur user for reference).

Answer:	Due to our draconian ways, it is still illegal to play in South Dakota. Fortunately, some of us more enlightened thinkers have found a way to circumvent the rules.
