Answer:	Yes, we use it with my original Iphone (1) and classic Ipod. I also use it with my Ipad and the cord that is included. Enjoy!

Answer:	If your Nano is brand new, the answer is it will not work with this JBL unless you also have an adapter. The docking portion of the unit is compatible with previous generation 30-pin connectors, not the small connectors of the new Apple generations.

Answer:	I do not have a 4S, I have a 4 but it is the same connector and should charge fine. The only comment I would make it the dock seems to be a little "touchy" in that you need to make sure it has a nice, square seating in order to be charging.
