User questions & answers

Answer: I played both games with multiple groups of friends and without a doubt, These Cards Will Get You Drunk is hands down WAYYY better than Buzzed (and cheaper).
Question: Can you play with 2 people
Answer: It's possible to play with 2 people but some cards would make more sense with a group of 3 or more.
Question: What are the rules? How do you get points or how does the game end
Answer: The rules are super simple - just follow the directions on each card! There are no points, which is nice because it's hard to keep track after a few drinks lol. You just play and drink, so pretty much everyone wins and loses 😂
Question: Does this game have expansion pack
Answer: Yes!! We just launched the much anticipated expansion pack called "These Cards Will Get You Drunk Too!" https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07GSNRZVJ

Exploding Kittens LLC

Based on 16 reviews Check latest price

Product description

Throw throw Burrito is what you get when you cross a card game with dodgeball. Try to collect matching sets of cards faster than your opponents while simultaneously ducking, dodging, and throwing squishy airborne burritos. The cards you collect earn points, but getting hit by flying burritos loses them. So clear some space and put away the antiques, because you've never played a card game quite like this before. How it works: place a pair of burritos on a table and draw cards. Keep your cards a secret. Rack up points by finding sets of three in the deck. Find matches before anyone else does. If someone plays Burrito cards, a battle ensues. Steal points from your opponents by hitting them with squishy toy burritos. Declare war on your friends. Some battles only involve a handful of players. Others force the entire table to engage in a burrito war. Duel to determine the winner. During a burrito duel, two players must stand back to back, walk three paces, and fire.

  • From the creators of Exploding Kittens, Throw Throw Burrito is the world's first dodgeball card game!

User questions & answers

Question: Do you get more points based on where you hit the other person with the burrito
Answer: Burn it, to appease the trivia gods
Question: Are the burritos made of latex
Answer: Yes!! My wife and i’s marriage is strong and going great. But I could see where this could boost conversation, as well as get you thinking about maybe things you’d like to do with your partner. We played this game on 2-3 rod trips already. Only bad thing, it’s pretty much a one time use. No point in asking or discussing the same topics over and over. Hope this helps!!
Question: Can I play with real burritos
Answer: Hey Shelly, thanks for reaching out! Definitely! Whether new or married for a long time, couples will learn something new about their partners when using the cards. The questions are truly designed to get you into a meaningful conversation and is suitable for different stages in your relationship.
Question: Can I order extra burritos if the dog ate half of one
Answer: Definitely not a game. Cards have questions for each other to answer in order to converse and maybe learn something new about your partner or just to get each other talking. More a healthy relationship builder than a game.

User questions & answers

Question: How is this different from Scategories
Answer: I'm from Canada (we lived in USA for 5 yrs too) and your comments about Canada and "why Amazon won't ship this game here," (I "Do" love my country!) are bringing tears to my eyes. So funny ! You guys should all organize yourselves & create a board game utilizing your great senses of humor. Too funny! ........"eh ! "
Question: Is the cards super clean? can it be played with children
Answer: I believe they used the 1st version on Table Top. If so, then the game plays exactly the same and I wouldn't get the current edition. There are differences in the drawings on the cards, the disease pieces are now plastic and smaller instead of wood, and the board looks slightly different. Otherwise, the game is the same and not worth getting if you already have version 1. Instead, and if you haven't already, consider buying the expansions to make the game even more fun!
Question: Where can I buy this game
Answer: I think 45-60 minutes with a strong team who knows the game is a good estimate. The first games with new players will take a while, even on easy, because there are a lot of little nuisances and details to learn... and if you're playing with a few different strong personalities, you may loose time to discussing the best tactics and strategies. When my husband and I play, 45 minutes is a good estimate, but we also work well together and know the rules of the game.
Question: Is this the same as Scattegories
Answer: The box says 8+, the Amazon description says 13-15. The expansions all are 13+, so maybe that's why Amazon is confused. We haven't played any of the expansions yet, but my 5yo and 8yo both love Pandemic. We got it shortly after the 5yo's birthday, and at first it was kind of frustrating at times when he'd insist on doing something completely illogical, but he's gotten better in the past half year. That said, he reads way above grade level, so 8+ is probably a better idea - you want the kid to be able to read the names of the cities, etc. I wouldn't buy the game if you only have kids under 8, unless they're profoundly gifted - we got it for the 8yo, and the 5yo just happened to be able to go along, but there are games that would be more suitable for his age - he isn't yet really able to strategize at the level needed for Pandemic. And really, saving the world can wait until the ripe old age of 8. ;)

User questions & answers

Question: Am I reading the price for this game right? $49.99...for a card game
Answer: That’s way too much. I bought this just a couple weeks ago for 19.99$. Is that the price for the game AND the expansion pack?
Question: Is this game any fun if you only have 3 people
Answer: I wouldn’t be quite as fun. I’d recommend at least 5 or more
Question: What’s the minimum number of players
Answer: 4 Players is a minimum recommendation to enjoy all the activities of this game.
Question: How does the second cousin card work? it says you keep the unibrow until "you have the card". don't you "have" the card upon drawing it
Answer: Hello Sean. Yes, you do "have" the card upon drawing it, and you keep the blue (curse) card once you drew it. But several other cards can remove that blue card from your possession like a Tornado card, for example. So once a curse card is removed from your possession by another action, you no longer need to keep the unibrow on.

The NSFW edition of Unstable Unicorns is still a strategic game that will destroy your friendships in a hilariously offensive way. Horrify your friends. Abandon them. Unicorns don’t judge. The game features the same style of gameplay as the beloved Unstable Unicorns, just a bit...dirtier. Unstable Unicorns was one of Kickstarter’s top 100 most backed projects of all time and won the 2019 People’s Choice Award for Toy of the Year.

  • The NSFW edition of Unstable Unicorns is still a strategic game that will destroy your friendships in a hilariously offensive way. Horrify your friends. Abandon them. Unicorns don’t judge.
  • The game features the same style of gameplay as the beloved Unstable Unicorns, just a bit...dirtier.
  • Unstable Unicorns won the 2019 People’s Choice Award for Toy of the Year.
  • This highly giftable game takes 30–45 minutes to play and is for 2–8 players (ages 21+).
  • The box contains 135 NSFW cards and a rule book (plus optional drinking and stripping rules) and features a magnetic closure. This game is fully playable on its own, and any expansion pack can be added to it.

User questions & answers

Question: How many min and max players
Answer: Unstable Unicorns is a 2 to 8 player game.
Question: I have the base game and all the expansions. Love it! but it doesn't' fit in the box... What has worked to contain your unicorns
Answer: Other card games sell portable expansion and game pack carriers. Maybe when purchasing you can check the Unicorns deck sizes against the carrier to make sure.
Question: Is it truly 14+? Can it be adapted to younger players (fairly easily)? Or just forget it
Answer: I am not sure why it is 14+. I think it would be fine as long as they can understand the rules and be fine being sabotaged. Just don't get the NSFW expansion pack :)
Question: Is this similar to exploding kittens
Answer: Similarities: 1) Art work is clever and unique, there is definitely an element of appreciating the cards as you play. 2) "Nope" and "Neigh" cards are similar concepts. 3) There is a large element of sabotage ("Take That"). 4) Game duration is similar assuming you use the whole deck in Exploding Kittens. 5) In my opinion game is best with 3-6 players. Differences: 1) This game is way more strategic and less just blind luck. As in if you know what you're doing and everyone else is new, you'll win. Where often in Exploding Kittens its anyone's game despite experience. 2) The game works in a mechanic where you do a lot more working to win and prevent others from winning where Exploding Kittens is a lot more survival and bluffing in it since all you need to do is not explode... Overall both are amazing games that I highly recommend. Personally I believe they each fill unique and different roles and don't compete with each other for which would rather be played at any given moment. Side note, like Exploding Kittens I have an easier time getting people who don't like to play games to also play Unstable Unicorns.

Product features

Horrify your friends. Abandon them. Unicorns don't judge.

Unstable Unicorns NSFW is a strategic card game that's perfect if 69% of your conversations involve dirty jokes and inappropriate comments. The goal of Unstable Unicorns is to be the first person to collect seven Unicorns in your play area, also known as your Stable. Use Magic, Instant, Upgrade, and Downgrade cards to F*** over your opponents’ and destroy their Unicorns. But beware -- each player has all of these tools at their disposal as well, and you may just find your plans foiled by a well-played “Neigh!” card. Get ready to offend people and destroy friendships… just be careful who you play with.

In 2017, Unstable Unicorns became one of the top 100 most backed Kickstarter projects of all time, and in 2019, the game won the People’s Choice Award for Toy of the Year. We are super proud to have created a game that allows people to share meaningful experiences while actively working to screw each other over.

Build a Unicorn Army

The goal of Unstable Unicorns is simple: be the first player to collect 7 Unicorns. This is done by playing them from your hand into your stable. Things get tricky when you realize your opponents are trying to do the same thing while working to screw you over. With plenty of expansion packs, your army can grow when you see fit.

Play Upgrades and Downgrades

You can also play Upgrade cards to beef up your defenses against your opponents, and you can play Downgrade cards to halt their progress (and probably infuriate them).

Use Your Magic

Your magic cards have powerful one-time use effects that can help tip the odds in your favor. Some give you benefits like extra cards, while others are utterly destructive to other players.

Stop Other Players With a Neigh!

Not so fast! Neigh cards can be played instantly to prevent someone else from playing a card. Save these up until you have the perfect opportunity to screw over your friends!

Don’t Get Got, A Party Game About Completing Secret Missions And Not Getting Caught

Big Potato

Based on 672 reviews Check latest price

Product description

Don’t Get Got is a party game that’s not like most other party games. It’s designed to run in the background, which means that you can literally play it anywhere – at home, on a holiday, as a dinner party game or even during a drinking game. Either way, no matter where or when you play it, you’ll always have to keep your guard up… because there’s no telling what the other players might be planning. With over 180 different missions that can be attempted in loads of different scenarios, this is one of those party games for adults and teenagers alike. To start, each player gets given a mission wallet with six mission cards, which they keep secret from anyone else. On each card is a mission – one that requires you to trick one of the other players in some way. For example: “Hide this card inside a jar and get a player to open it”. If a player’s feeling suspicious and accuses you, you must come clean and remove that mission from your wallet. However, if they open the jar without thinking too much about it, then success – you’ve scored a point! Wave the card in their face and tell everyone in the game that you’re officially one step closer to winning the adult family game. User questions & answers

Question: how replayable is this? can someone just memorize all of the missions and never get got
Answer: There are LOTS of missions. There are 3 sealed packs, each with 50-ish missions. I won't say it's impossible, but it's highly unlikely. Rather than memorizing all the missions, it's more likely that an experienced player will be always on guard and paranoid.
Question: Is it possible to play with more than the max player count of 8 printed on the box
Answer: First off, my copy plays up to 10. To answer your question: this game can be easily adapted to play more. The components are limited to 10 wallets that easily hold the challenge cards, but if you could find another way to manage your challenges, it should not be a problem to play more than the limit. CHOOSE YOUR MISSION

Don’t Get Got is a party game that’s not like most other party games. It’s designed to run in the background, which means that you can literally play it anywhere – at home, on a holiday, as a dinner party game or even as a drinking game.

FUN AND ENGAGING GAMEPLAY

On each card is a mission – one that requires you to trick one of the other players in some way. For example: “Hide this card inside a jar and get a player to open it”. If a player’s feeling suspicious and accuses you, you must come clean and remove that mission from your wallet.

However, if they open the jar without thinking too much about it, then success – you’ve scored a point! Wave the card in their face and tell everyone in the game that you’re officially one step closer to winning the adult family game. The first player to successfully complete three of their missions, wins.
