Question:	Would this set be enough for me and a friend to play against each other as first time players, or is there a wiser way to start an initial collection
Answer:	When I purchased this pack I received cards going back as far as 1995 all the way to Shadows Over Innistrad and Eldritch Moon. Basically anything from any sets older than Kaladesh can be found in this. This pack makes a great backbone to a variety of decks but you will likely need some specific cards to bolster them.
Question:	How recent are these cards
Answer:	In my lot I had a decent mix of newer with older expansion cards. I couldn't tell you off the top of my head which sets they came from though.
Question:	Are there older cards in this lot
Answer:	The card are in mint or near mint condition. There are Rares and foils in the group. I bought it before M15 and a large % was from the at the time current release, but I cannot say if this will include M15 now that it has been released. There was a good mix and I bought it for someone that was just starting out and they were able to make several decent decks out of the box.

Is this factory Sealed

Answer:

As I do not remember how many land cards come with this it may be wiser to start off with a deck building kit from Walmart or any store that sells them. Also if there is a gaming store in your area that is licensed for Magic (wizards of the coast) then you should be able to get two decks for free. I think they are called starter decks but I could be wrong about that. The person at the counter should know. These decks will have land cards in them and are great for introducing someone to the game.

Answer:	This product does not come with MTG Arena codes.

Answer:	Yes you can pull duplicates from boosters. No they are not returnable, but you can sell singles on TCGPlayer or Card Kingdom.
Question:	Are there duplicates? And are the cards returnable
Answer:	If you are looking to start playing magic the gathering constructed formats, a planeswalker deck or an arena starter set would probably be better options as they get you a pre-built starter deck to be able to start playing right away. If you are looking play sealed formats like booster drafts the booster bundles are a good starting point as you will get 10 booster packs and enough basic lands to build a 40 card booster draft deck with.
Question:	I have no idea what I’m doing, trying to buy a beginner set for my 19yr old as a gift. Will this work? If not, what would you recommend
Answer:	I got it for xmas for my 6 1/2 grandson, so not yet sure how he will do. Hoping the dvd will make it a litte easier for him to pick up on it.
