Question: Is this the same version of the game that is available on Kickstarter for $60 cheaper for the next two weeks
Answer: No they work separately and cannot work together.
Question: Your listing says available for immediate ship. I ordered back in 6/17. Can you confirm that existing orders have shipped
Answer: This valve has a diverted so 2 fixtures can be used such as a tub and shower. I'm using it for a shower and hand held. Be aware the diverter handle is integral with the temp selector. The temp selector uses the handle and the diverter uses the round end with no lever. It's quite odd. Mine is only roughed in now.
Question: Does this version of the game include the miniatures
Answer: Yes
Question: Why is the game so expensive
Answer: the bar is chromed steel and the clamp/ hand shower fitting is plastic.the angle of the spray is adjustable.i have had problems with both the slide showers i bought, one the slide clamp snapped in half and one shower head the buttons on the back popped out and water started going everywhere! Grohe did replace both parts but once again the replacement head did the same thing.and once again Grohe replaced the head, but this time with a different type, i think they have issues with this product and i wouldn't recommend it too you or anyone...hope this helpsregards

Gloomhaven is a game of Euro-inspired tactical combat in a persistent world of shifting motives. Players will take on the role of a wandering adventurer with their own special set of skills and their own reasons for traveling to this dark corner of the world. Players must work together out of necessity to clear out menacing dungeons and forgotten ruins. In the process, they will enhance their abilities with experience and loot, discover new locations to explore and plunder, and expand an ever-branching story fueled by the decisions they make.

This is a game with a persistent and changing world that is ideally played over many game sessions. After a scenario, players will make decisions on what to do, which will determine how the story continues, kind of like a “Choose Your Own Adventure” book.

Playing through a scenario is a cooperative affair where players will fight against automated monsters using an innovative card system to determine the order of play and what a player does on their turn. Each turn, a player chooses two cards to play out of their hand. The number on the top card determines their initiative for the round.

Each card also has a top and bottom power, and when it is a player’s turn in the initiative order, they determine whether to use the top power of one card and the bottom power of the other, or vice-versa. Players must be careful, though, because over time they will permanently lose cards from their hands. If they take too long to clear a dungeon, they may end up exhausted and be forced to retreat

Product description

As one of the heroes, you will embark upon on a quest to rid the land of a demonic invasion, fighting your way through countless enemies and gearing up to face the Lord of Demons himself. The deceptively simple dice throwing mechanic turns out to be a tactical delicacy once you realize that equipping the correct gear is a crucial part of surviving in these hostile lands.

  • Dice Manipulation
  • Inspired by "Hack & Slash" genre of video games.
  • Build your hero as best as you can to defeat the Demon Lord
  • Slay monsters to gain loot and level up your hero by receiving gear and increasing your abilities.

User questions & answers

Question: Is it possible to play this solo? Or even cooperatively
Answer: You can play it either way. So, you can take turns and watch each other play, listing each final score and comparing to decide the winner. Or you can all play at once and then compare the scores of numbers left up to determine winner. Watching works well when folks are just learning the game.
Question: Is this the English language edition? Why is it overpriced
Answer: You roll the dice and close down the numbers. Object is to close them all. So if you rolled a 5 and 6 then you can close any number (s) that add up to 11. So 10 & 1, 9 & 2, 6 & 5. The person that has the least numbers (total) still upright is the winner. I bought it for my work, rehab in the geriatric population. Good for cognition, adding and working on standing tolerance.
Question: How long does it take to complete a game
Answer: I'm not quite sure what you are asking. Do you want to know if there is a handheld version? Yes, there is also made by Grohe, I'll link you to it at the end of my answer. The hand helld head doesn't come with a hose or mount unless you buy a kit. With the hand held head, the buttons for selecting the spray pattern are on the back of the unit. Here's the link:https://www.amazon.com/Power-Soul-130-Hand-Shower/dp/B0086W7K3E/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1477682603&sr=8-1&keywords=power+and+soul+hand+held
Question: Whats included
Answer: The head is 7.5 wide and the outermost holes measures a little less then 6.

User questions & answers

Question: The contents listed above for 5th edition state that there are 16 road pieces. The 4th edition lists 60. I assume this is an error
Answer: We are working on making replacement cups available soon! In the meantime, contact us directly and we can help.
Question: What were the earlier editions of Catan like that they had to make more editions? Is the 5th a big improvement? How
Answer: If you play with only two people, it's no longer a game but more of an activity. I played it a few times just me and my wife and we both had fun, but it certainly lacks that thrill of competition when you play against another team. If you're looking to only play this with two players, I would not get it.
Question: On a different site it says you can play with 2 players here its says 3 which is it
Answer: Depends on their maturity level. I have a 12 & a 13 year old that play the game. They loved it from the get go and were able to learn and play the game very quickly. For younger players than that, if they seem to struggle you could probably handpick the cards so its easier for them to give clues or guess the clues given. But, like I said, my 12 & 13 year old learned it in one play and love playing it. Besides, this game can be played team vs team or all in the same team (cooperative). I hope this helps a little. Have fun! :-)
Question: Is this version different from Settlers of Catan? Is it an appropriate starter game
Answer: We just played it at my twins' 14th birthday party with two 5-person teams. It works best with teams of 4-8 people. Much bigger than that, and the caucusing part of the game gets unruly.

User questions & answers

Question: can this game be played with
Answer: As other suggested you can use 2 characters per person until the haunt happens and give the survivor player the remaining 3rd character. Alternatively, you could reduce the effectiveness of the haunt. (Halve the number summons, create additional win conditions, or lessen restrictions, etc.)For example, in the Ring of King Solomon haunt you could do one of the following:Summon only the Demon Lord, opposed to the Demon Lord and +1 demon per survivor.Give the survivor a couple item cards from the top of the item deck.Halve the stats of all demons summoned.Although after playing some rounds in normal 2player some haunts are perfectly fine for it by default with only 2 survivors.
Question: Why is this game over
Answer: Supply and demand. Many people desire the game because of the show TableTop and ones that own it will sell for profit knowing the next print run is in August.
Question: Is the 2nd edition identical to the 1st edition but a different box? Or are the stories and room tiles different at all
Answer: The second edition actually fixes some of the random issues with logical inconsistencies (in the first edition you could have a lake on the second floor), and it clarifies some of the scenarios while adding and removing a few of them. You can visit Board Game Geek's forum for more information here: http://boardgamegeek.com/thread/996123/difference-between-1st-and-2nd-editions-betrayal-h
Question: When is gonna be a restock of this game
Answer: Hi, I'm the designer of the game. I was concerned about all the rumors here, so I checked with the publisher. She told me that 5000 copies of the game had been sent to distributors during Q4, but some of the larger distributors may have sold out theirs already due to the Tabletop coverage. There are more on the way, though, and I suspect that some of the smaller places and local stores may still have copies available, so you shouldn't need to start scavenging quite yet!

Super Hazard Quest - The Board-Game Played Like a Retro Pixel Video Game!

Based on 133 reviews Check latest price

Product description

Super Hazard Quest is a table-top game inspired by retro video games. But Super Hazard Quest not only references classic side-scrollers, it plays like them too.

Like many of its inspirations, the goal of Super Hazard Quest is to defeat the game’s “FINAL BOSS”. But only one hero can take the glory. Giant “DUNGEON” cards make up the game’s “board”. Each card features a unique room in the adventure, complete with obstacles (or HAZARDS) that stand in a hero’s way. “ITEM” cards, along with each hero’s innate ability, help players navigate from room to room. Whenever an unexplored part of the Dungeon is reached, a new Dungeon card is drawn from the deck and connected. Thus, the level builds as the heroes explore.

Hidden among the Dungeon cards are Boss Rooms, including the game’s Final Boss. But ordinary Items won’t be enough. A magic CRYSTAL, well protected by Mini-Bosses, are the only weakness of the game’s ultimate villain. Heroes must first find a Mini-Boss, earn a Crystal and be the first to reach the Final Boss in order to win.

It’s all the fun of multi-player retro gaming without ever having to blow into a cartridge!

  • Super Hazard Quest is a table-top game played like a retro video game side-scroller.
  • Heroes build and explore an ever-changing, randomly generated level. Along their adventure, they will discover new items, tackle enemies and beat powerful bosses.
  • It's all the fun of multi-player retro gaming without ever having to blow into a cartridge!
  • 54 Item Cards, 26 Dungeon Cards, 1 Instructional Cards, 8 Character Tokens, 16 Crystal Shards, 1 Instructional Manual

User questions & answers

Question: Are there any expansions for this
Answer: I’m using this as a Christmas gift and already have it wrapped. There is a covering, but not sure if felt or a fake leather type material. I didn’t check it that closely. But that being said, I’m pleased with what I got for the money.
Question: How long Is a normal game
Answer: I'm not sure I completely understand your question, but each side has 10 flip tabs numbered 1-10, so there are 10 for each player. There are no loose boards or score sheets if that's what you are referring to. The only loose pieces are the eight dice.
Question: How much is this game like Boss Monster
Answer: It comes in a box

User questions & answers

Question: Do you need the app to play? I'm looking for games that will also work during a power outage when my phone is for emergencies only
Answer: According to BGG forums: chriswray84 wrote:I'm going to sleeve the cards in my copy of Coup (which hasn't come yet). I've never sleeved a game before. Does anybody know what size of sleeves to order? Any recommended brand? I'm ordering from Cardhaus, if that helps at all. From the "More information" section of the game entry:* 65mm x 100mm (7 Wonders sized sleeves fit perfectly)
Question: Are the campaigns replayable? Will there be more added
Answer: It's a French word commonly used in "coup d'etat." So it's pronounced "coo" not "coop."
Question: So, this is the same game as the original with some enhancements/updates, and not a totally different game, correct
Answer: Coup is fun with 3. Best with 4 or 5, and still not bad with 6 even though the best says up to 5 players. You could still have a great time with 3, but you probably will miss out on some of the deeper strategies that were intended for the game.
Question: Researching before buying - the app says "offers in-app purchases" - Do you have to buy them in order to enjoy the game
Answer: Coup is a better "opener". It's more accessible, less complicated, fewer pieces, takes less time, and works better either for the first game of the night, or for introducing to non-gamers. The Resistance is more of a second game, when everyone is settled.

Dark Souls: The Board Game (SFGD001)

Dark Souls

Based on 1 reviews Check latest price

Product description

Dark Souls: The Board Game is a cooperative dungeon crawl board game for 1-4 players. To win the game, players must work together tactically to learn how to defeat enemies before finally confronting the boss. Players will find specific attack patterns and weaknesses of the enemies, but they will have to be careful. If a player's character dies, the game does not end, but starting over comes at a cost. Each time a character falls in combat, the whole party must return to the bonfire, and all enemies reset. Use your resources sparingly, learn quickly, and prepare to die.

Prepare to Die!

To prevent the coming of darkness, a curse has been unleashed upon humanity. You are the Chosen Undead, Bearers of the Curse, and it is upon you that the fate of this world rests. Will you forever join the Soul of Cinder and prolong the torment or usher in an Age of Humanity where the curse of undeath is at last lifted?

About the Game

Dark Souls: The Board Game is a strategically challenging, deeply immersive combat exploration game set in the Dark Souls universe. Players choose from a number of character classes and explore dangerous locations full of monsters, treasure, and deadly boss fights.

Massive Replayability

With multiple difficulty modes and a high level of replayability, this is a game designed to be deep enough to satisfy hardcore tabletop gamers whilst remaining accessible to newer players.

With no fixed scenario layouts, it's as simple as choosing the direction to explore, placing a new tile down and flipping a card from the Encounter deck.

Each time you decide where to go, you will experience a new danger as you explore, with each new location a real risk to your hard-won progress. If you die, then you drop everything you have collected and reappear at the nearest bonfire. So do you return to the bonfire to rest and spend Souls to strengthen up, but in doing so fully reset the locations? Or do you press on and pray that the next encounter isn't beyond your capabilities. After all, the next location may contain a clue to the Boss and how to defeat them...

Dark Souls: The Board Game - Darkroot Expansion

The Darkroot is a lush but foreboding region of Dark Souls. Scarecrows, giant stone warriors, and the very plants of the forest stand sentinel to hinder any heroes foolish enough to brave this realm. Darkroot is the final resting place of Artorias, a deadly revenant and relentless swordsman who is guarded eternally by his companion, the Great Grey Wolf Sif. New Dark Souls: The Board Game adventures await in the Darkroot Expansion, with new enemies, new encounter cards utilising those enemies, and new treasure cards for characters to discover along their adventures. Components for two new main boss encounters further enhance players’ options and provide fresh challenges.

Dark Souls: The Board Game - Asylum Demon Expansion

As you pace the halls and corridors of the Undead Asylum it can be found to be a lonely and quiet place, moribund and uninviting. Here dwells a demon capable of lethal rage, its mind still ruled by virulent thoughts. Beware this foe. For all that you will fight stronger, more cunning, and more agile opponents, complacency will hasten your end at its hands all the same. Can you triumph over the Asylum Demon, or will your corpse soon be another to roam the Asylum with the hollowed? The Asylum Demon Expansion adds new encounter cards which provide larger battles than ever before in Dark Souls: The Board Game. The tremendous scale of these encounters creates a whole new level of peril for you and your party. Are you up to the challenge?

Dark Souls: The Board Game - Character Expansion

Brave the dangers of the Dark Souls world with six new characters for Dark Souls: The Board Game. Take control of the agile thief, faithful cleric, bloody mercenary, fiery pyromancer, arcane sorcerer, or determined deprived. Seek out the most coveted suits of armour and ready yourselves for the dangers that lie ahead.

And many more!

Dark Souls: The Board Game has a number of other expansions, including the Black Dragon Kalameet Expansion, Gaping Dragon Expansion, Vordt of the Boreal Valley Expansion, and the Darkroot Basin and Iron Keep Tile Set. New content is regularly released to keep even the most skilled adventurers on their toes.

ADVENTURE AWAITS. In Mice and Mystics players take on the roles of those still loyal to the king but to escape the clutches of Vanestra, they have been turned into mic. The castle would be a dangerous place with Vanestras minions in control, but now countless other terrors also await heroes who are but the size of figs. Play as nimble Prince Colin and fence your way past your foes, or try Nez Bellows, the burly smith. Confound your foes as the wizened old mouse Maginos, or protect your companions as Tilda, the castles former healer. Every player will have a vital role in the quest to warn the king, and it will take careful planning to find Vanestras weakness and defeat her. Mice and Mystics is a cooperative adventure game in which the players work together to save an imperiled kingdom. They will face countless adversaries such as rats, cockroaches, and spiders, and of course the greatest of all horrors: the castles housecat, Brodie. Mice and Mystics is a boldly innovative game that thrusts players into an ever-changing, interactive environment, and features a rich storyline that the players help create as they play the game. The Cheese System allows players to horde the crumbs of precious cheese they find on their journey, and use it to bolster their mice with grandiose new abilities and overcome seemingly insurmountable odds.

User questions & answers

Question: is it a good game for two to play
Answer: It's a mixture of yellow, blue & purple, but more blue than purple.
Question: How does this compare in mechanics/play-style to the D&D 4e board games like Castle Ravenloft? Thanks in advance, if anyone has insights/opinions
Answer: I haven't played this particular game, but I have hosted more than 100 game nights and I've watched a lot of Family Feud episodes. In team guessing games, if you don't have the "correct" number of players, one person can be the "Universal Player." With Family Feud, this means regardless of which team wins the toss-up question, the Universal Player will help that team answer questions, but they don't get to help the other team "steal" if they don't sweep the board. The Universal Player is supposed to give each team 100% of their effort to help them win. No playing favorites! 😀 Another idea is that the "extra" person rotates in and out of the game with one person on the team. This still makes the team sizes equal; but one person is always left sitting out. (It does give time for bathroom and snack breaks, though.) Don't forget the purpose of the game is for family and friends to laugh and have fun together. It doesn't matter if one team has a slight advantage of winning. 😀
Question: As this game is story driven do replays suffer or become bland because you already know the story
Answer: 203
Question: In a picture, the miniatures are colored and in another, they are not. Which version would I be getting
Answer: Thank you for expressing your interest on our product at Amazon .com. The question cards are family friendly without foul or off color questions. Although your little ones ( 8 yr old up) can enjoy joining the game, they may not be familiar with some of the answer. One example would be Q: Name a personality that wears mask A: Spiderman, ZORRO, Batman. I hope that helps! Have a nice Holidays!

User questions & answers

Question: How is this different from the one at Target for
Answer: It's not.
Question: Does the miniatures come fully assembled
Answer: Yes they are! Miniatures are fully assembled, so no additional work required
Question: When should this be played? At a certain point in the base game or after completing the base game
Answer: This is a standalone game, separate from the original game. As such, you can play it at any time. If you played the original game first, you can use it as an extension of the game, or, if you play this first, you can use your gameplay to dovetail into playing the original game. There is no actual crossover in gameplay stories, though.
Question: My copy can shrink wrapped but the top lid is not flush with the bottom half. there's a 1/2" gap at the bottom. is this ok
Answer: Yes! All the copies I've seen are like that. The game and everything is just so massive, it has that gap. Even with the original Gloomhaven game, that massive box has a gap

Product features

A stand alone game that precedes the events of Gloomhaven

The game includes four new characters — Valrath Red Guard (tank, crowd control), Inox Hatchet (ranged damage), Human Voidwarden (support, mind-control), and Quatryl Demolitionist (melee damage, obstacle manipulation) — that can also be used in the original Gloomhaven game.

Hereos are invited to investigate mysterious disappearances within the city

Is it the work of Vermlings, or is something far more sinister going on?

Gloomhaven: Jaws of the Lion is aimed at a more casual audience to get people into the gameplay more quickly. All of the hard-to-organize cardboard map tiles have been removed, and instead players will play on the scenario book itself, which features new artwork unique to each scenario.

The last barrier to entry — i.e., learning the game — has also been lowered through a simplified rule set and a five-scenario tutorial that will ease new players into the experience.

  • 1 - 4 players
  • 30 - 120 minute playtime
  • Ages 14+
