Answer:	I play it with my four year old granddaughter and while she is exceptionally brilliant :-) she wins as often as I do. So yes, it is challenging for both kids and adults. In all seriousness, I have been playing card and board games with my granddaughter since she was two so she is really good at games and it is definitely not over her head.

Answer:	Although the rules re-place a player pushed off the board onto the tile that was added to the board (and caused the player to be pushed off the board), this is the only way they allow players to go from one side of the board to the other without going through the maze. That said, you should (and I will) try this as a house rule and see if it makes the game play better.

Answer:	Depends on the 5 year old. If they are board game savvy, they will love this game. It takes a little guidance. Our daughter started playing it when she was 6, but she was playing chess at 3. It is a great game. We love it. Buy it now and take a chance and your five year can grow into it.

More suitable for the older child. I think it is a wonderful game and very well made. The feel and look of the whole game board and pieces is just of high quality materials. Even the box is very heavy made. This is the second game I have purchased from Ravensburger and I am very impressed with the quality and fun. I think any children above 8 or 9 years old would enjoy this game. It does take quite awhile to play. It is not a 15 minute game. What I like is that when you place the cards on the board, it is random, so you never play the same game twice. Give it a try, I think you'll be impressed.

Answer:	I think it would depend on the child. My 3 year old received this for his 3rd birthday and had trouble understanding the concept at first. However, we tried again just a couple months later and he was able to play just fine. He is also extremely good at jigsaw puzzles and understands the idea of matching like pieces together.
Question:	What is the size of the completed layout? Size of each tile
Answer:	The game easily takes up a 3'-4' round table, which is what we play on. In order to avoid running off the table, or having to move the puzzle around to accommodate more pieces being added to one path or another, we have a house rule that says the puzzle cannot ever be moved, and that any piece played on a path must leave room for other pieces to be added later. In other words, no trapping of open paths is allowed. Sometimes that ends the game before we use up most of our tiles. But then we just see who has the fewest tiles left, declare that person the winner, and start another game! Also, we shuffle and deal out all the tiles, face down, in the beginning, so that each player has his own smaller pile to draw from. Then we each turn over the first ten of our tiles and go from there. We find that less destructive than reaching across the puzzle to pull from a central pile.

Answer:	It's just as good, just as precise, BUT, it has two downsides:1. The ball is HALF the size. Yes, half. It's tiny. 2. The right click button is just a sliver of plastic.. quite easy to miss. I like this trackball, but I still prefer my larger-ball ones (the Logitech ones). Once those break down I will use this. It's a very decent piece of equipment, very sturdy, feels good to handle, but.. the ball is small.I am not a large man, my hands are either S or M based on glove size, and it is small for me.

How to Play

1. Roll both dice

2. Move your token up to the number rolled. You may not share a space with another player.

3. If you land on a blue space, look under the tree next to that space to discover what is hidden there. Try to remember what you find, and don't let the other players see it!

4. If you think you know the location of the treasure shown on the face-up card at the castle, you can earn it if you are the first player to make it to the castle and correctly remember under which tree that treasure is hidden. But beware, if your memory is wrong, you'll have to go all the way back to the village!

The winner is the first player to collect three treasure cards.
