The confusion about 9V vs. RC is easily cleared-up: 9V tracks were discontinued by LEGO in 2007 as they were proving increasingly expensive (they were metal and electrified, transmitting power to the train's 9V motor). Beginning in 2006 and continuing to the present LEGO has produced all-plastic tracks (no power runs through the tracks themselves) for trains that contain a power function (motor) within the train itself and are operated via a remote control ; thus the tracks are referred to as RC tracks. RC tracks allow for use of multiple trains running and various speeds as each train can be individually controlled (not so with 9V). All LEGO trains since 207 have RC tracks. Unless you are buying a vintage, retired LEGO train set from pre-2008 you needn't concern yourself with 9V. A simple way to think of the difference: 9V trains are like mono-rails (such as in Miami) powered by the electrical tracks themselves...whereas RC tracks are like real trains, where the power is in the locomotive itself and the tracks are simply the "road" the train runs on. Sample Recipe: Red Wine–Braised Short Ribs

Directions:

1. Sear the ribs. Liberally salt the short ribs on all sides. Preheat the Instant Pot by selecting Saute and adjust to More for high heat. Heat the oil until it shimmers. Add the short ribs in a single layer without crowding them (work in batches if necessary). Brown the ribs for 3 to 4 minutes on each side, then transfer to a plate and set aside, leaving the cooker on high heat.

2. Cook the vegetables. Add another coat of oil if the pan is dry and heat it until shimmering. Add the carrots, onion, and garlic. Sprinkle with ½ teaspoon of salt and stir until the onion pieces separate and the vegetables begin to soften, 2 to 3 minutes.

3. Make the sauce. Stir in the tomato paste and cook for a few minutes, just until the paste begins to brown slightly. Add the wine and stir, scraping the bottom of the pot to dissolve the browned bits.

4. Pressure cook the short ribs. Lock the lid into place. Select Manual (or Meat); adjust the pressure to High and the time to 40 minutes. After cooking, naturally release the pressure for 20 minutes, then quick release any remaining pressure. Unlock and remove the lid.

...Carefully transfer the ribs to a plate or baking sheet. They’ll be quite tender and will fall off the bones if you’re not gentle. Tent lightly with aluminum foil to keep them warm while you finish the sauce.

Answer:	Hi Kristen, thanks for your question. We have a stainless steel fridge and it sticks fine on ours. Some grades of stainless steel aren't magnetic though, if it didn't stick you might be able to use some double sided tape.
Question:	Does it hold Receipts
Answer:	No, there is a pocket on the inside of the back cover. This would be the only place for receipts, which in my opinion would not work.
Question:	How thick is the paper
Answer:	Claire, it is a really durable thickness without being too bulky. I use a .7 ballpoint pen and it doesn’t bleed through at all. Nor do the pages crinkle or bend accidentally. I highly recommend this planner:)
Question:	Is the paper used on this planner a nice bright white? I prefer white pages to 'reading' colored pages that have that yellow tinge
Answer:	The paper does not appear tinged yellow to me but I'm not concerned about the color so might not notice the difference. It doesn't look much different from a standard piece of printer paper.

Answer:	It is Monthly pages, then Weekly pages. Because this is undated planner, we had to separate the Monthly and Weekly sections. Korean Braised Beef Short Ribs (Galbijjim)

I like to make galbijjim, the popular Korean comfort-food dish, with boneless beef short ribs. It’s less traditional than using bone-in ribs, but hey, so is cook¬ing the ribs in a pressure cooker! This recipe requires no browning step, since the sauce has plenty of deep flavor from the garlic, ginger, and soy sauce.

Recipe (serves 6 - 8)

Pat the ribs dry with paper towels. Cut crosswise into 3-inch pieces and add them to the Instant Pot.

In a blender or food processor, combine the onion, pear, garlic, ginger, brown sugar, mirin, and soy sauce and process until smooth. Pour the sauce over the short ribs and stir to coat evenly. Arrange the rib pieces in a single layer. Secure the lid and set the Pressure Release to Sealing. Select the Meat/Stew setting for 35 minutes at high pressure.

When the timer goes off, you can either perform a quick release by moving the Pressure Release to Venting, or you can let the pressure release naturally, then leave the ribs in the Instant Pot on the Keep Warm setting for up to 10 hours.

Open the pot and stir in the carrots and daikon. Secure the lid once again and set the Pressure Release to Sealing. Press the Cancel button to reset the cook¬ing program, then select the Manual program and set the cooking time for 3 minutes at high pressure. Perform a quick release by moving the Pressure Release to Venting. Open the pot and, using a slotted spoon, transfer the meat and vegetables to a serving dish and keep warm. Use a ladle or large spoon to skim the fat from the sauce.

In a bowl, stir together the cornstarch and water. Press the Cancel button to reset the cooking program, then select the Saute setting. When the sauce comes to a simmer, stir in the cornstarch mixture and let it boil for 1 minute, until the sauce has thickened, then press the Cancel button to turn off the Instant Pot.

Spoon the thickened sauce over the meat and vegetables. Sprinkle the sesame seeds and green onions on top and serve.
