User questions & answers

Question: Which ones better. This card pack or Buzzed? And they’re pretty much the same right
Answer: I played both games with multiple groups of friends and without a doubt, These Cards Will Get You Drunk is hands down WAYYY better than Buzzed (and cheaper).
Question: Can you play with 2 people
Answer: It's possible to play with 2 people but some cards would make more sense with a group of 3 or more.
Question: What are the rules? How do you get points or how does the game end
Answer: The rules are super simple - just follow the directions on each card! There are no points, which is nice because it's hard to keep track after a few drinks lol. You just play and drink, so pretty much everyone wins and loses 😂
Question: Does this game have expansion pack
Answer: Yes!! We just launched the much anticipated expansion pack called "These Cards Will Get You Drunk Too!" https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07GSNRZVJ

User questions & answers

Question: Where is this item printed
Answer: I've played both the old version and the new version dozens of time (though it's been a couple years since I played the first edition). Most of the changes are cosmetic in nature. The cards and board were redesigned (though they function exactly the same, except as noted). The nice wooden infection cubes have been replaced by a cheaper-feeling plastic. The cards and game look different, but are comparable in quality. The game play is basically the same, with a couple of minor changes. They buffed Light Green - the engineer (who can now charter flight from any city with a research station to anywhere on the board by discarding any card) and White - the researcher (other players in the same city can now take any card from him, as opposed to him having to give the card during one of his turns). I think they also slightly changed Purple - the dispatcher. The buffs are very helpful, as the engineer was previously a virtually useless role. Now he can get anywhere easily by placing a city for one turn, then discarding any card to fly anywhere for his second turn, where he can heal two blocks immediately. This makes the researcher much more effective because she can spend all 4 moves getting to someone else, who can then spend their first three moves taking cards from the researcher and their fourth move developing a cure. The second edition also added 2 new roles: the contingency planner and the quarantine specialist. The former, as an action, can (one card at a time, and once per special event) redraw a special event card from the discard pile back into his own hand that doesn't count against his limit (i.e. He can have 8 cards as long as one of them is a redrawn special event). I typically don't play with the contingency planner because his role completely sucks. The quarantine specialist simply prevents new diseases from being placed in the city she is in, as well as all adjacent cities. If you have 2 adjacent cities with three blocks each, you can avoid a double-outbreak simply by moving her to either of the cities. We often use the dispatcher to move her around as needed. In summary, the second edition simply fixed a few annoying weaknesses of the engineer and researcher, replaced nice wooden cubes with cheap plastic ones, and added one fun new role. If your original version is still in working condition, don't buy a new game. Just print the new rules to buff the old roles. It's not worth a whole new board game just for the one role of quarantine specialist. If your old game is worn, get a new copy, but keep the wooden disease cubes.
Question: I used smile.amazon.com to make my purchase of CAH contribute towards the Make-A-Wish foundation. Is that upsetting
Answer: Yes you can cross over and use one chip for another sequence that is in your orginal sequence. You can only use one chip from your original sequence to make another one though.
Question: Why does it bother to say that 0% goes to the Make a Wish Foundation
Answer: Regarding my listing of the Sequence game, the board is 19 3/4"x15.5". Yes, the chips look the same on both sides. Hope this helps!Joyzbooks
Question: why won't Amazon ship this to Canada
Answer: 24"x13 1/2"

User questions & answers

Question: Can two people play the card game
Answer: Hi, This is Grandpa Beck. Thanks for the question. There is no actual limitation that prevents play with any number of players. The box says 4-6 players, because that is the "sweet spot" that most people find ideal. The rule sheet does say, that if the game is played with 2-3 players, each player holds five cards in their hand instead of the four that is normally dealt. When played with fewer players, the game is more about making pairs. When played with more players, the game is more about capturing the most valuable stacks of assets. With larger groups valuable top sets of assets are often stolen and re-stolen many times. Each time a set is captured value is added as the cards used to challenge and defend go with the winning set. This added value adds a lot of drama and emotion to the game. There are many twists and turns as players use strategy to try and be the last one to capture the most valuable assets. Some players even play with larger groups. Others combine decks to give more options with large groups. We often divide a large group into two and them play off in a tournament. However you play, I hope you have a great time! This is a game that all ages can play and enjoy together and we love hearing about families and friends having great times with our games. If you get a moment we would love to hear from you with a review! thanks!
Question: How many cards are in the box? To make the game for more people- Can I order just additional decks, and for what price
Answer: Hello and thank you for writing. There are 110 cards in the box, two decks of 52. There is no specific limitation to the number who can play the game. The dynamics of it do change in very interesting ways with different numbers of players. With a small number of players play is more focused on making pairs. With larger groups there is much more back and forth, and more interesting interaction. The game plays well with up to 7 players as is, with 5-6 being ideal. With larger groups some people add in an extra deck or two. We usually just break into groups of 5-6 players instead of playing with 10 people at once, but that is just our preference. It can work both ways. Just give it a try and see what you think. I am confident you will have many a wonderful game night with this game. The game is $12.99 and comes in a very nice sturdy box. We don't really have the cards sold separately. If you have any further questions please don't hesitate to write, or call. Please see the reviews to see what others are saying about our line of four family favorite card games. Brent Beck, aka, Grandpa Beck [email protected] 206-498-1959 grandpabecksgames.com
Question: How long does a game usually last
Answer: Hi, it depends somewhat on the group size, and the game is best with 4-6 players. The game is played in a series of 'hands.' These can be played and enjoyed independently or in sequence toward the final goal of one player gaining a total score of one million dollars. Each hand would average 10-15 minutes and 45 minutes or so to complete the complete goal. The game moves along quickly and many enjoy a quick 'game' whenever they have a few minutes! I look forward to hearing how you enjoy it! Brent Beck, aka, Grandpa Beck
Question: how many can play
Answer: It is optimal with 5-6 players, but 4-7 still works well also. With more than 8 people you would want to get a second game and either add the two games together or play in two groups. I am sure you will enjoy it. Please call with any other questions. 206.498.1959 Grandpa Beck Merry Christmas!

SKYJO by Magilano - The entertaining card game for kids and adults. The ideal game for fun, entertaining and exciting hours of play with friends and family.

Magilano

Based on 20 reviews Check latest price

Product description

Product description:

SKYJO – This is the name of the new and exciting game from the publisher Magilano, promising fun and entertainment for many evenings to come. In card game SKYJO the goal is to collect as few points as possible over the course of several turns as after every round every player’s points are counted and added to his score. As soon as a player reaches 100 points or more the player with the fewest points wins. Collecting the fewest points means to look for low or even negative numbers. Further excitement is added by several special rules, which for example make it possible to remove several cards (and with it points) from the game – this can lead to unexpected turns. This motivates daring decisions that might even come back to bite, if the other players can counter faster than expected.

What is needed to play? Enough space for 12 cards in front of each player. A positive side effect: When playing, your hands are free, so you can count points or eat snacks. As the game rules are quite easy, small talk during your turns is no problem.

    Recommendation:

    ● Suitable as family, adult, kids, travel and holiday game as well as birthday present and easter gift

    ● At least two players or more, the more players the more fun the game is

    ● Especially suited for children:
    • Educational Gaming: Train arithmetic and concentration skills
    • No directly competitive game: Every player plays for himself and there is no way to directly “harm” other players
    • Hands free: The cards stay on the table and do not need to kept in one’s hands

  • YOUR GOAL: Try to get as few points as possible through flipping, trading and collecting cards over the course of several rounds. This is only possible as long as a player has not uncovered all his cards, because then ends a round. So beware, keep a close eye on the game and be cautious and wary of the other player's actions!
  • LOTS OF FUN for your friends and family. SKYJO is an entertaining card game that is lots of fun for kids and even older game enthusiasts (adults).
  • FAST GAME START: Easy to learn game rules! Includes a short manual with pictures. Ideal for a short game in-between other activities and as staple game for exciting evenings. A turn-based and time flexible game.
  • EDUCATIONAL GAMING: Count - Adding of up to 100 two-digit numbers. Estimate - Get used to chances. Concentration - Follow the course of the game and other player's turns.
  • PLAYERS: For 2 - 8 players. AGE: From age 8 and up. GAME DURATION: about 30 minutes. LANGUAGES: English, Spanish, German, French, Italian. CONTENTS: 150 game cards, 1 game notepad, 1 manual. Made in Germany.

User questions & answers

Question: do you shuffle cards in between each hand or wait until cards run out
Answer: We tend to shuffle the used cards after each hand, but I think you could also just wait until the cards run out.
Question: Would 9 and 11 year olds be able to play this
Answer: Absolutely. My 8 year old loves it, but it can be a long game so it may not be great for those who lose interest quickly.
Question: Can you play this game with just 2 players or is it more difficult with
Answer: Yes, you can play with 2 players and it is not more difficult. We do it all the time. My husband and I love this game and our 5 grandchildren love it as well. It is an easy game to teach them and it helps them learn strategic thinking. It's nice because we can help them if they need it since we can see their cards. Ages 4-8
Question: I purchased this game; 3 of us have tried to read the directions and cant figure it out?? Can you give a brief description to help us play the game
Answer: The instructions were challenging! 3 people gave up on them before we decided to take it step by step and play it out. I 2nd the YouTube suggestion, that’s how we learn to play most new games we get, but basically: Arrange 12 cards facedown (for every player) in 4 rows of 3. Each player starts by flipping 2 of their cards face up. All other cards are in a draw pile (Flip 1 up for a discard pile, too). The goal is to have the lowest total points at the end of the round, Each player takes a turn...they can either draw from the draw pile or discard pile. If they draw from the discard pile, they must replace it with one of the 12 cards in front of them...either facedown or faceup cards. If they draw from the draw pile, after seeing the card they must decide if they want to keep it or discard it, depending on how high or low the card is (for example, if you have a 12 showing in front of you, and you draw a 2, you definitely want to keep the 2 and would probably replace the 12 you have showing instead of risking an unknown face down card). If you do not keep the card, you discard it but then flip up one of your face down cards. You keep going around the table trying to have the lowest number of points (card value) at the end. Once a person flips over their last facedown card, then everyone else gets 1 more turn and the round is over. 1 fun quirk of the game, if you have the same card in a column of 3 (three 12s in the same column, for example) then you discard the entire column (all three 12s) and those points no longer count against you. We love this game but the instructions were hard to follow at first. Good luck!

designed for four or more players, that's what she said takes 30-60 minutes to play. unlike other party games, all the cards within the game are designed to work together to maximize the evening's hilarity and minimize those awkward well-that-wasn't-funny moments. also, after each round, players can discard one card that doesn't tickle their pickle (twss) and redraw to keep their hand funny and fresh. the player known to be the most twisted of the bunch is the first judge, and starts the game by reading a red setup card to the group, while the remaining players select the most hilarious card from their hand for consideration. the judge awards the winner the red setup card as a marker, and the first player to collect five setup cards wins.

Oh Fruck! A Raucous Card Game That Combines Strategy with Special Rules That Change Every Time You Play.

Oh Fruck!

  • Be the first player to discard all your cards, but watch out for the special rules
 and don’t get Frucked.
  • Includes over 100 cards (2.5 x 3.5 inches), box, instructions, plus a Benevolent order of Fruckers membership card.
  • Launched on Kickstarter. Funded in 1 day.

User questions & answers

Question: Is this game like Fluxx
Answer: No. Both games have rules that change, but that's where the similarity ends. Oh Fruck! is a shedding game, so the goal is always to be the first player to discard all of your cards. The Special Rules in Oh Fruck! make for a funny social party game. A big part of Oh Fruck! is busting other players when they "fruck" up and forget one of the Special Rules and have to take a card.
Question: How do I order another deck to play with more than 6 players
Answer: I just saw there are extension decks a available on Amazon.
Question: How does the blitz card work when played in oh fruck
Answer: The blitz card allows a player to continue discarding their cards in a single turn: "When you play this suited card, continue discarding, as long as each subsequent card matches the suit or rank of the previous card." Strategically, it's wise to hold on to this card until you can put together a sequence of cards that allows you to discard many or all of your cards. If the prior player plays a spade for example, and you have the spade blitz card, 5 of spades, 5 of clubs, 3 of clubs, and king of clubs, you could play all those cards in that order in one turn.
Question: If you have more than 6 players do you add another regular deck of cards to the mix or do I have to buy a second game? Thanks
Answer: When playing with more than 6 players, we suggest combining two OH FRUCK! Playing Card decks into a single 152-card deck. Use one set of 26 Special Rule cards. Include as many House Rule cards as you'd like. Then, deal fewer cards per player. For 7 players, deal 7 cards per player. For 8 players, deal 6 cards per player. For 9 players or more, deal 5 cards per player.

User questions & answers

Question: How many points to you get if you get the question right? It only tells you how many points to delete if you get the question wrong
Answer: My wife and I have been using question games and books for over a year. We usually spend 45 minutes a day asking and answering questions. It has brought us closer together and is exciting to find out something new even though we've been married over 50 years. Sometimes the simplest question can lead to major discussions. Also check out books of questions some having over 4000 questions. Some questions are similar but that's OK because people change over time and it keeps you current with who your partner really is.
Question: Are the questions multiple choice
Answer: Yes. Pretty clean
Question: How many players does it take
Answer: This game works for both married and unmarried couples. There are people in a relationship for under a year and know each other well enough to fully play the game. If you take a look at a few example cards that we have in the image section of the listing and feel that you guys can answer a few of them, then the game will probably work well for you guys!
Question: What happens after you answer all the questions throw it away
Answer: Unfortunately not at the moment. We'll announce it if we do release an expansion pack in the near future.
