Answer:	Takes a long time to assemble, but the instructions are great. I would say a good hour and a half. BUT our grandson absolutely loved it and still plays with it one year later.

Answer:	I think the best age for this based on my kids is about 3-5. My son is 3, and the toys are large enough that I don't think its possible to swallow pieces, he is a little young to assemble the items alone following directions, but loves to do it with help. I think if he was 5 he could assemble everything but may not appreciate the wooden tools as much (as they aren't real) so I believe 3-5 to really appreciate it. What I like about it is that its a great bench and I think it will last for a great work bench with real tools after that point.

Answer:	No circular saw - just a bench vice in front. My boys and my husband love this work bench. The vice doesn't clamp all that well but no one minds. It's of very good quality all around.

Answer:	Hape was a joy to work with. While it was delivered with a few parts missing. Representative had them here within 48/hrs before Christmas. There were a few glitches in putting together, in some pieces not being clearly marked - Left or Right (Blue legs). Once figured out to reverse, it went together smoothly! It is a solid well built wooden bench! The top part uses the plastic screws with back bolts to screw into place. The top of bench, may pound nail like pieces with hammer. It even has a working Vice on the front to hold wooden pieces as if to saw. And a bottom shelf to hold all together. The side slots for hammer, saw, and screw driver and rule are very handy - just like Dad's and Grandpa's (who put it together for Santa this year). I would buy it again!

Answer:	The bolts, screws, nails and top of the hammer are plastic. Honestly I don't think these pieces would hold up if they were wood.

Answer:	The main work surface is 22 inches high. Perfect for my 4 year old. Almost 7 year old is getting a bit tall for it, but he will still use it and sometimes sits at it.
