Answer:	Yes they're good for 9 year old. It help with their imagination and thought process. They can be ad creative and the options of what they can build is limitless. My grandson has ADHD and when he gets out of control I give him his set and he starts building and becomes another child. Question:	Are the magnets inside the blocks
Answer:	I've had sets of these for about 5 years. Yes, they do occasionally break and the magnets come out. Usually it's after they've been around the block awhile and the plastic starts to get a little loose and scraped and old looking, and then one of the kids throws them one too many times and it hits just the right spot. However, it has only happened to 3 or 4 blocks in a span of 5 years. Yes. it is something to consider, but my youngest three children are 4, 2 and about to be born and I'm on to buy some more for the 2yo's birthday gift, as they occupy the kids for a LONG time. That tells you how big of a problem I think it is. That being said, it for sure depends on your own personal comfort level.
