Answer:	Good luck!! Ours had parts drilled backwards and we didn’t find this out until Christmas Eve when we went to put it together. The seller isn’t very helpful. They are willing to replace it but we have to send the partially built kitchen back. I would rather that they refund me instead of making have to figure out to package this thing back up.

Question:	Is it at all possible that there is lead in the paint
Answer:	I'm certainly NOT an authority on lead based paint. I'm assuming it shouldn't go into a Childs mouth, but my GRAND son loved this, and it seems very durable. Some of the other stuff just won't hold up, the handles come on so quickly. I looked this up on the internet and they are made in China, however--Most toys are made in China, so I can't answer your question.

Answer:	They're wooden. Don't know what kind, but they are sturdy. Brought them last year as Christmas gift for my three year old granddaughter....still holding up nicely!

They aren't really intended for eating. If your child wanted to play cook with real food, I would think it would probably be fine. However, it is paint...and it is made in China...so I would still watch for peeling paint if you have very little ones. These are quite durable, but the paint will peel if a toddler gnaws at them or something. I know this from experience. lol.
