Answer:	Bought this for our 3yr old. I really didn't see much that a child would choke on unless they are talking about the attachments. Which are rather large if you ask me. They also are taking into consideration small items that the child might suck up into the vacuum. With all that being said, I would be fine with a child under 3 playing with this item. Answer:	I am not sure why everyone thinks these are so small I think they are perfect for pretend play tea set. I just measured all of the pieces in the set to give you a closer to accurate answer. The tray from outside edge to outside edge is 9.5"x 6.25", the cups are 2" in diameter, the plates the cups go on are 2.25" in diameter, the treat plates are 3.5" in diameter, and the tea pot is 2.5" tall plus lid and 3.25" in diameter on the base. Teapot is 5" wide when measured from side of handle to spout edge. Hope this helps!
