And I also want to know the differences in quality, I purchased 2 bars from this company and another brand, finally, I kept this one. Why I choosed SaflyFun: 1.Sturdiness SaflyFun's bar is more sturdy than the other one(brand B), my girl is afraid and almost flipped when she did a penny drop on bar of brand B. Answer:	They are slightly over a 1/2 inch (more precisely 9/16). We have another game that uses regular marbles and we've tried them with the hippos game but they're too big. They get stuck in the hippo's throat and don't empty out into the tray. The cheap marbles really aren't all that bad (but there is a lack of them), it's the hippos that don't work well and the entire game is so cheap and light that it doesn't stay put when you have a bunch of kids pounding on the hippos.
