Answer:	It has a polished metal outside. The inside under the velvet it definately not cardboard. It is stiff but slightly flexible so I would say particle or a thin strip of wood. I found the same looking jewelry box at Walmart for $60.00 and up. This is the best deal.

Answer:	I would buy 2 for my girls if they had an African American option. And no, I'm not painting a brown face on the doll with a sharpie as one respondent suggested ;-/

Answer:	I bought this music box directly from Lenox about 10 yrs ago for my older granddaughter. At the time, they engraved her name on the top before sending. It is a beautiful keepsake. Be mindful, however, that it has tarnished a bit over the years; and being 17, she now stores it in the top of her closet. 😢

Answer:	Regular white glue, mostly. A little bit of silicone glue.
Question:	What do you mean "siding not included"? I'm not sure what siding you are talkiing about - does the house have sides
Answer:	If you get a half scale house - probably?!?! The door openings are from 3-4” tall
Question:	One of the sheets of wood is warped and it has the side wall. I have contacted the manufacturer with no response. Can I wet the wood down and press it
Answer:	Yes it does....the Windows are plastic and you glue them on from the inside....as far as the door, you aren't supplied with any hardware....I would not recommend purchasing this house for a variety of reasons..

Question:	does it come with glue
Answer:	It comes with everything shown, however, you have to cut out all of the leaves, petals, pictures, flooring etc and assemble. The only problem I had with this kit was the plastic walls and roof was difficult to put and keep together. If you enjoy cutting, pasting and work with tweezers you will like this kit. I did.
Question:	Dust cover. Does it come with a dust cover
Answer:	It’s a bit confusing at first, we had to read and understand the numbering of the bags. We also ran out of the glue early as there was only one small bottle of glue. My granddaughter lost interest quickly. I would not order another one.

Answer:	As I see it, yes it will. Although this doll house is comprised of many small parts. I would suggest using a fine grit sandpaper as all parts need a little more attention than others to fit nicely. But when completed it is 17" tall with 6 rooms.
