Answer:	No - it is not waterproof since that is a level of water resistance not possible in a speaker at this price if at all. It should have an IPXX rating (first X is dust and second is water) so like IP15 or IPX7 where the higher number represents greater resistance. I would say light rain, some splashing, or similar light moisture exposure would be fine (with flap closed over ports) but dropping it into a pool or puddle for multiple minutes would probably be more then the device would tolerate.

Answer:	No they are not stable on carpet. They will fall over with lightest of breezes. You must anchor them, I use 2 short pieces of 2×4. The other thing is they are flimsy. If you hit one of these with a 5" you WILL destroy the gate. I've clipped a couple with 120 mm and without duct tape they would not exist now. Even a 90 mm did damage. They are a great idea that could have been executed better. The gates that consist of fiberglass rods and nylon sleeves are far more durable.

Answer:	The product box says the globe’s scale is 1:43,000,000...we aren’t sure if that means topographically as well, our thought is no. Having said that, you can run you fingers along the globe and feel all of the mountain ranges. It’s a beautiful globe. When lighted and when not. The globe seems weighted and spins nicely under one’s fingers. We are pleased with this purchase.

Answer:	This question is easily answered by measuring the circumference of the globe along the "equator": about 37.5 inches, give or take 0.2 inches, giving a low of 11.9 to a high of 12.0 inches. Since the string I used had some gives, I would opt for 12.0 inches. If the globe were advertised as 13" diameter, this would mean a circumference of about 40.8, a difference of 3.3inches, which my string could not possibly stretch by that much!

Answer:	7/32" as far as I can accurately measure.

Question:	Does this toy come with a storage box or container
Answer:	No but you can put the pieces back in the box for storage.
Question:	how small are the gears
Answer:	About 3-4 inches around, close to an inch high. Great for kids about 4-6 maybe even a little older. No small pieces for little ones to get into. this is a great educational toy. Might need an adult to help them get the hang of it, but when they do it is magic.
