Answer:	This set has a motor, a battery box with built in switch, a remote wired switch and a light set. This set requires the user to flip the switch to closing the circuit for anything to happen. Look for another set with remote control by using the key words "LEGO IR Remote". You should find several items. A complete set with motors, battery box, IR receiver tower, IR remote as well as some of these listed as individual items.

Answer:	I would say this kit is compatible with most Lego kits. My daughter has the Classic Bricks and Gears set. She was building things that turned and moved with the gears. I thought that it would be fun if set could be motorized, so I purchased this item for her. She loves it. Now she has apes that can swing and carousels that turn. This Power Function set is an expansion pack that can be used with most LEGO Technic sets as well as some other LEGO sets like Creator or Marvel Super Heroes. If you look at sets 10257 and 42053 you will see on the box there are call outs to add LEGO Power Functions. In the back of the set building instructions there will be instructions on how to add these to motorize the set.Once you are familiar with how LEGO Power Functions work you will only be limited by your imagination and you can then use these in adding functionality to anything but most sets will not include instructions on how to do so.

Answer:	There are 790 pieces in the large box, only 6 wheels, but lots of windows. The medium has 484 pieces with 18 wheels, but only a couple of windows. Might actually be a better deal for two mediums.

Answer:	I have both boxes. I'm not sure if I would say it's a better deal. I bought the medium one for $30 at Target and it has 484 pieces which is a pretty good deal, I think. but the bigger one is double that price for 790 pieces.

Answer:	Really depends on the toddler, and whether that's "just turned 2" or almost 3. Some 2 year olds are still sticking stupid things in their mouths, in which case this is a safety hazard. Neither of my kids would have been ready for this at 2 exactly but my younger one was playing with regular small legos a few months before he turned 3 without problems while my older one (almost exactly two years older) found them frustrating at the same age and even at almost 4. Just depends on their fine motor skills.

Question:	Why does this particular duplo set have a prop 65 and not the others? Do I need to worry about a certain piece in my toddlers mouth
Answer:	There are a couple of pieces that could be a choking hazard - not blocks, but accessories for the house. My 2 year old adores this set and I am so pleased I bought it. You could supervise your child, or remove the accessories that are too small, and still have plenty to play with. Hope this helps!
Question:	Is this too young for my 4-year-old
Answer:	Not at all! My 3 year old has been playing with these for almost a year. At first she needed help lining things up and clicking them together, but now she’s a master and can play with these happily for over an hour without asking me for anything! Duplos are MY favorite toy!!
Question:	Does this come with a boy or a girl? The kid figurine is what gender
Answer:	The kid figurine comes with short hair and overalls, the only distinctive feature is long eyelashes but to me looks like a boy to my boyfriend looks like a girl...

Answer:	It was originally already pretty expensive. I paid about $60 for it. My daughter does love it and you can build the house several different ways. I have kept it built and on a shelf in her playroom and she enjoys playing with it. I don't regret the purchase at all but it is up to you how much you are willing to pay for it. It is a great set though.
