It weighs 1.6 pounds. I would give this truck a high rating because it"s made for free creative playing. Both my kids took a while to figure it out when they started at about 12 months, and maybe 2-3 months later they were really good at it, and would not stop repeating this puzzle without tiring. One of my kids is 4 years old, and he's lost interest, but my 18 month old plays with it daily, and every time I want his attention to be diverted, this is the toy I go to, and always works!

Answer:	Just checked my grandson's truck. The top ramp slides down and back up again. I does not 'hold' while in the up position unless the lower ramp or door is closed. That lower ramp, when folded up, holds the top ramp in place. The lower ramp sort of snaps into the truck. I will say, however, it isn't a very 'tight' locking mechanism but it does hold the top ramp in. Hope this helps.
