Our daughter loves this toy. The front "game thing" can be removed and laid flat on ground to play with if you like.

A tip when I was young I used a mirror for practice, now I use a phone's video. I would also buy the book Royal Road to Card Magic.

I weather-proofed it by applying a wood stain, which I'd recommend over sealing the wood because cedar is a great flea and tick repellent. I'd say go to Lowe's or Home Depot and ask in the paint department for a recommendation on what to use with cedar. Whatever you use, it should be renewed every few years to maintain efficiency.

Question:	I threw away instructions. I wondered what the black button under the lid controls? Seems to play the same no matter if it’s turned off or on
Answer:	The black slide switch controls the volume of the music coming from the lighter hand.
Question:	The hand in the centre is a button or is it to bang? I feel mine got kind of stuck

Answer:	When you put the piece into the drum it does make the sound of that animal. I don’t think it plays any familiar songs but the songs it sings are cute and catchy.

Answer:	Its not a loud rhyme book, and yeah it has volume control. This book is very lovely
Question:	How do tpu replace the battery? Where is it
Answer:	"The users manual says that it is on the top of the spine of the book." Uhhhh - But it is on the B O T T O M of the spline. The "top" of the spline, is the speaker enclosure. You know - with the little speaker holes. Good luck if you force that off . You will need a small tip screwdriver and two AAA batteries. Note the battery direction before removing the old batteries.

Answer:	They basically pull apart. You can kind of screw them together but it doesn’t latch/lock. My 1 1/2 year old can easily pull these apart and put them back together
