Answer:	Yes, seeing the letters and the picture does help little children learn to read words. You can reinforce the letter-word association by quickly reviewing each tile after the game has ended. Cover either the photo or the letters and ask the child to identify what is covered, but don't let this review detract from the fun of the game. If you take a peek at alphabet books for little children, you will see a picture that begins with the letter on that particular page, helping the child learn the sounds of letters.

Answer:	I don't have the game What's Gnu. Based upon the description, they seem very similar. The different seems to be that Zingo Word Builder has three words per card and is played more like a challenge game. What's Gnu seems to be true world building, card by card. I purchased Zingo because I have multiple Zingo games in my classroom. Once the students learned to play one game, they could easily figure out how to play Zingo 1-2-3, Word Builder, Sight Word, etc. Hope this helps.

Answer:	That appears to be an error. I suspect it's supposed to say 3-7 years. My 3yr old loves this game. My 7yr old tires of it a little more quickly. I'd suggest this is a great game for 3-6 years old.

Answer:	yes, but they are of the same thick sturdy construction of the box. for comparison's sake - take the trivial pursuit box vs. monopoly or chutes and ladders. the latter two end up ripping at the seams and are easily crushed. Trivial pursuit box is much sturdier and holds up. Sneaky Snacky Squirrel (box and logs) are better and stronger than trivial pursuit. if you step on the logs, they'll probably show damage, but form regular handling, not at all. in fact not only are they thick board, they are coated. my son also just got chutes and ladders and it is so cheap and flimsy - this game (SSS) was so well made that it was actually an ooh and aah session when we passed it around. like I said, 4 ppl ordered it once they saw it. If you are considering this game, I recommend it 1000%. and I do mean 1000

Answer:	Depends whether or not you play with or without putting the puzzle together. My 5 year old granddaughter and I usually play without doing that part and our games last around 15 minutes including setup. She loves it!!

Answer:	The 9 piece puzzle is the the cooperative version of the game. If you chose to play that version everyone's tree has to be empty before the puzzle is completed or the bird wins and everyone loses. It is in the instructions of the game if you want more details on how to play that version.
Question:	How is this different from the original? It looks like this one has cherries, blueberries, apples and oranges. Are there other differences
Answer:	I can't remember the original game perfectly so I can't be sure, but I think another new feature is a choice between competitive vs cooperative play--all players can play against each other, or play as one team. In that case, it is a race against assembling a bird puzzle. If all fruit is off the trees before the bird puzzle is complete, everyone wins. My young kids (ages 6 and 4) like playing that way best.

Answer:	I have played this many times with kids and haven't found any mistake. As such, I'd suspect, if there was a old/new edition -- with the new one containing errors -- it has been corrected in the game being sold now

Answer:	Even though the box reads "ages 5 & up", I find it difficult to believe that a child over the age of 7 would enjoy it. That said, for the price, it's a nice game for preschool (age 4) thru 1st grade, IMO. I agree with Yvonne R. You won't be sorry.

Answer:	You could always use a 10- or 12-sided die if they are confident with numbers through 6.
Question:	has the loop exit problem mentioned in reviews from 2016 hence been fixed
Answer:	I placed my order November 2018 and there is no issue. You can exit the loop by either landing on the exit, or the 3 and 5 spaces (assuming you get a plus when you roll the operations die.) In other words, they are placed correctly on my board.

Question:	would an almost-4-year-old understand how to play this game? he'll be 4 in two months
Answer:	I think it would depend on the child. My 3 year old received this for his 3rd birthday and had trouble understanding the concept at first. However, we tried again just a couple months later and he was able to play just fine. He is also extremely good at jigsaw puzzles and understands the idea of matching like pieces together.
Question:	What is the size of the completed layout? Size of each tile
Answer:	The game easily takes up a 3'-4' round table, which is what we play on. In order to avoid running off the table, or having to move the puzzle around to accommodate more pieces being added to one path or another, we have a house rule that says the puzzle cannot ever be moved, and that any piece played on a path must leave room for other pieces to be added later. In other words, no trapping of open paths is allowed. Sometimes that ends the game before we use up most of our tiles. But then we just see who has the fewest tiles left, declare that person the winner, and start another game! Also, we shuffle and deal out all the tiles, face down, in the beginning, so that each player has his own smaller pile to draw from. Then we each turn over the first ten of our tiles and go from there. We find that less destructive than reaching across the puzzle to pull from a central pile.

Answer:	I don’t make them but on the site scan down the page under product information see what it says I don’t think so it’s solid wood
