Answer:	I don't recall if they were or not. They were for a friend's son and the package is long gone unfortunately.

Answer:	They don’t feel like silicone bakeware to me. They are squishy, soft (but very durable), and really stretchy. My students absolutely loved them. I bought them so my kids would have something to quietly fidget with as they read, and they did exactly what I hoped they would.
