Answer:	Well, they are pants so you could wear them anywhere one wears pants, but I would not. The “parachute” material would be easily picked by briars on a hike. Also, the material has zero stretch and might bind if the wearer stretches. Last, they’d get very hot. These are meant to be worn baggy to hold in heat for dancers during warm up.

Answer:	I would suggest 8/10 because they grow so fast... and I think, these may run a little bit small. They would fit, but I think it would not last that long... they have elastic in both legs so if they are larger than you would like those elastics help...
