Function description



1.Hot Start: Electrode Pre-heating on the weld start. Makes electrode priming easier and prevents it from sticking when cold.

2.Arc Force: Provides the ability to weld with a very short arc even touching the welding material. Great for difficult positions/electrodes.

3.Anti Stick: Reduces the welding current when in SC. Prevents the electrode to get welded to the material when they stick together.

4.VRD stands for voltage reduction device. When a VRD is fitted to the Welding Machine, it reduces the maximum unloaded open circuit voltage across the output terminals of the welder to a safe voltage. Normally this reduced voltage is about 16 volts. This function is required more by European customer. Question:	Does is this unit have a pilot arc function for the plasma cutter
Answer:	It worked on mine I do have the first model though.
Question:	Does this come with power cord and what kind? There are conflicting answers on here
Answer:	MIG on aluminum is not done with AC, but it does need either a teflon liner for the gun or preferable a spool gun or push/pull gun. Considering a nice spool gun costs as much as this entire welder and the lead is probably only a few feet long, your best bet is a teflon liner and U-groove drive wheels. TIG on aluminum is almost always done with AC which this machine does not offer.
