How to solder？

1. Determine the right temperature for your project. Which temperature to use depends on the materials you're joining and the kind of solder you're using.
2. Once your iron is heated to the appropriate temperature, pick up the iron by the handle in one hand and hold a piece of solder on the other hand. Hold the hot iron to the place where the two metal components will meet for about a second to heat them. You want to heat the metal parts, not the solder itself.
3. Touch the solder to the heated components. As the solder melts, it will flow into the gaps it needs to fill. Continue to feed in solder until a sufficient amount is melted. While you need enough to form a solid connection, you don't want to have too much solder either.
4. Allow the solder to cool on its own without any action.
5. Check the soldering joint for quality. A good connection will appear smooth, uniform, and shiny. Make sure that aren't any problematic gaps between the components or globs of excess solder.

Answer:	Unfortunately, this particular product and part number (PACE ADS200 with 4 Tip Bundle PN 8007-0584) is only available on Amazon USA in 120 VAC. 220VAC versions are available, but not through Amazon at this time.

Answer:	The ISB (Instant Setback) Tool Stand is not included in 4-Tip Bundle package. It is an optional accessory. You can purchase another version from an authorized PACE distributor selling the "ADS200 with ISB Tool Stand" by searching for PACE Part Number "8007-0579" in the Amazon search bar. Question:	Are there hollowed out from end to end meaning I could run a wire in one end and out the other without too much hassle
Answer:	The clips are metal and the only issue you should have is some discoloration from the heat. But if they do get ruined a replacement clip is available from many electrical supply houses. Do a web or Amazon search for "8-32 alligator clip" and you can find a replacement clip that will fit the goose-neck just fine. Bottom line, I think you will be fine but if something goes wrong you can easily find a clip to replace a damaged one.
Question:	what is dia. of flex? not in metric
Answer:	When manufacturing the QuadHands WorkBench, we use that hole to securely hang the plate during the powder coating process. The hanger also provides the ground which causes the powder, charged with 85,000 volts, to properly adhere to the plate. Then it get's baked in a 400 degree industrial oven for 10 minutes giving it that durable, glossy coat.
Question:	Is the crocodile clip removable from arm head? Does the arm head allow to screw other things
Answer:	I don't have an exact weight each arm can support. I know that in the case of soldering motherboards typically 3 to 4 arms are used to support one. I don't think these arms would be able to support the weight of something as heavy as a chassis.

Answer:	No, the 3x LED Magnifier is not included with this product but can be purchased separately. Sorry for the confusion!

Answer:	Yes, the clip can be removed, and you can screw in other things. The screw dimensions would need to be the same though.

Answer:	These don't have a magnetic base. You have to screw them on to whatever surface you're mounting them to. Quad Hands have some excellent magnetic base flexible arms.

Answer:	The clamps will hold something approximately 7/8 of an inch. We do not have larger clamps available at this time. The alligator clips do unscrew and can be replaced with another 8-32 threaded clamp.

Question:	Do the clips stay tight ? Have to tighen them down multiple times
Answer:	I found it advantageous having a soldering iron that has a control for the heat when I work on circuit boards. A stand alone unit with no controls can get too hot and transfer heat to other parts of a circuit board and ruin the work. I also like the holder with the base to keep the soldering iron off of the work station surface. The damp sponge in it's holder is useful for a quick clean up of the tip when too much solder accumulates. Having extra tips allows me to choose a tip small enough to keep the heat right were it is needed.
Question:	Can I easily screw off arms if desired
Answer:	There is no temperature control. It just has a power control, with no feedback. So the temperature will change wildly, getting hot when in the holder, and cooling off a lot when soldering. Get something with a digital readout, it is the only way to be sure it has feedback controlled temperature.

Answer:	The clips portion is not hollowed out
