Answer:	Sorry to disagree with the previous answers, but I would definitely say no. In fact, I wouldn't recommend the use of any iron. You will need a torch for making jewelry. You CANNOT use leaded solder for jewelry period, and the usual leadfree solder is not strong enough. Jewelry requires extremely high silver content solder and that requires temperatures in the 1300-1400F degree range. I suggest you watch some YouTube videos on jewelry making if anyone has plans on making jewelry.

High Quality Replacement Parts

Answer:	I have a shop full of tools so this is something I have not tried. The output temp gets quite hot with the concentrator I believe over 1,200 degrees it will melt solder.

Question:	What is the “forked” tool for
Answer:	Rarely used. However, with the larger Quad Flat Pack ICs, place this under the soldered leads. Use the blower to heat up IC and board area. When solder melts, the part can be lifted off the board.
Question:	Does the fan continue to run until cooled down when set in the cradle or does it all just shut off
Answer:	When the handle is placed in the cradle the heat shuts off and the fan increases to max to cool the handset. once it has sufficiently cools it shuts off.

Stand-by mode:

when turning off the power, the screen will displays”SLP”, it represents the rework station enter stand-by mode.it will cool down gradually.

when you put the handle back on the holder, the station will also enter stand-by mode.

Matters Needing Attention :

2.make sure that you have connected the heat gun handle to the station before turn on it. And Only can unplug the heat gun after turning off the station. Otherwise, it will burn out the heat gun handle and damage the main machine of the rework station.

3. When you stop using the soldering station, please don’t disconnect the plug immediately when you turn off the power button of a soldering station.

And this soldering station will automatically shut down as soon as it stops blowing wind.

temperature calibration

The temperature accuracy has been set at the factory. The temperature measurement requires professional equipment to use professional machines. The temperature calibration must first be guided by the manufacturer, otherwise the soldering station will be damaged and cause danger.

If soldering station you received is not hot enough, or the temperature display is not accurate when used for too long, you can calibrate the temperature with a professional thermometer:

The operation is as follows:

1. Turn on the rework station, use a professional temperature measuring tool to measure the actual temperature, and turn it off.

2. hold pressing the "down" button(temperature adjusted button), and then press the power button once to enter the temperature calibration.

the screen will displays "CAL" and a flashing dot appears.

3. Press the “up” and "down" buttons to input the actual temperature that has been measured.

After the correct input, double-click the "down"button to complete the temperature calibration.

The rework station will record the new temperature setting.

the temperature will return to normal next time you use it.
