Answer:	Yes it does. I used it to remove sticky tape from car badges. As well as applying a 3M vinyl on my headlights. It gets extremely hot

Answer:	I haven't tried it but I suppose if you leave it pointed on the soft plastic long enough then it might melt it. That's my best guess.

Question:	Does work well with heating up 3m tape to stick better on car accessories please let me know asap
Answer:	It stays on it's very well, I was surprised. That's how I set down between putting heat shrink on wires. It also comes with a curved nozzle attachment that helps direct the heat around a pipe. I used it to bend a 1 inch pvc water pipe. (Though, I would imagine, you might wanna bend the attachment into a sharper curve for PC cooling pipes.)
Question:	Would this melt soft plastic for bait making
Answer:	If you mean to use it for heat shrink tubing, yes. It's not designed for soldering of course, and it does run on two heat settings. The high setting is 1500 watts as I recall (12.5 amps) and the coil glow orange. However there is a thermal protection (reed type switch) that breaks the curcuit after about 90 seconds when it's on high (without any attachments) If you need to sustain a high setting I recommend the Wagner because it will run on high as long as it is on until the plastic case melts. It also has a tendency to melt things touching the nozzle, especially the cord when accidently thinking it's cool enough to set it down somewhere. Low settings 750 watts, no problems. 200 degrees at 1 inch. High is about 390 to 425

Answer:	Shrinking packaging wrapEnclose and seal the product in the shrink wrap and then poke a small hole in the wrap to allowtrapped air to escape. Move the heat gun back and forth across the package until the shrink wrap hasevenly shrunk.

Question:	How long does it take to heat up to maximum temperature
Answer:	When plug in,you have to turn on the switch,then the heat gun will start to heat to default set temperature.
Question:	Does it throw cool air as well
Answer:	It gets up to temperature very quickly. I have not timed it but I would guess 10 -15 seconds to reach full temp. It is a nice heat gun.
Question:	Will this heat gun stand on it's own so it can be used hands free
Answer:	Yes but if u talking about like vinyl flooring I would recommend a bigger gun like a Skill or Milwaukee brand. This is really for electronic/wiring use.
Question:	Is there a display to let me know when I’ve reached the needed temperature? I can’t tell if there is a temp display where the turn knob is
