Answer:	DuraBox dropboxes are not designed to be mounted outdoors. Although the dropboxes are powder-coated, they will eventually rust and look unsightly. Outdoor usage will void the warranty.
Question:	Could a patient person pull things out from the slot? there was a negative review about that for the protex drop box security lock box
Answer:	Perhaps this is possible if someone was very patient, had a lot of time on their hands and some accessories. I would imagine that it would be possible, although unlikely, to insert a think stick or stout wire with gum or another sticky substance on it and work out a thin, light envelope. In my opinion, this is a very secure box that I have not had even the slightest difficulty using and we deposit cash and checks in there almost every day. I would buy this again without hesitation.
