Answer:	Most steel attracts magnets though I have only tried a small magnet to stick a label on it which has worked. I haven’t tried a heavy magnet but I haven’t tried. I suspect that if a larger magnet doesn’t stick to the box it may be that the steel box has more chromium mixed with the metal. Hope this helps.

So if an area of the powder coat is scratched or rubbed off you will see rainwater cause a white residue to appear. This is the Zinc coming out of the steel before rust starts. You can use a Rust preventative paint to match our boxes for touch up and prevent rusting over time. You can also use a clear wax to help protect the powder coat periodically. This keeps things looking new for a very long time if done regularly just like a car.

Answer:	Some conflicting answers from other people here... There is a foam seal around the edge of the top door, which by itself isn't that useful since the delivery person often forgets to close it, but the design of the top door hinge is such that most of the water that collects in it can drain out without being dumped inside. As for the bottom door, the top and side edges of the door frame are beveled to direct water to the bottom, where there are two drain holes to let out any water that does get inside. Because of these details, I would call this box weather-resistant.

Answer:	DuraBox dropboxes are not designed to be mounted outdoors. Although the dropboxes are powder-coated, they will eventually rust and look unsightly. Outdoor usage will void the warranty.
Question:	Could a patient person pull things out from the slot? there was a negative review about that for the protex drop box security lock box
Answer:	Perhaps this is possible if someone was very patient, had a lot of time on their hands and some accessories. I would imagine that it would be possible, although unlikely, to insert a think stick or stout wire with gum or another sticky substance on it and work out a thin, light envelope. In my opinion, this is a very secure box that I have not had even the slightest difficulty using and we deposit cash and checks in there almost every day. I would buy this again without hesitation.

Answer:	No, this safe is not fire proof. I contacted the seller cause I too wanted to know. The seller told me that this safe is not fire proof, the way it's constructed the metal is too light and would melt.
