Question:	Is there a moisture/mold problem with these honeywell fire/water chests? i'm seeing a lot of complaints in the reviews
Answer:	We have been using one in Portland Oregon for about six months and have never had any problem with mold or mustiness in any safe we've used over the past 30 years. Today, I opened this safe for the first time in a few months, greeted by the smell of mildew. We do use a small dessicant packet inside, and the average humidity in our home hovers around 45%. We will need to arrange either a better dessicant or a different safe!
Question:	All 3 of the product specs have different sizes. Can someone tell me the exact outside dimensions by height, width, and depth including the lock
Answer:	From left to right when facing the lock and latches the width is exactly 12 3/8". From front to back, the depth is 9 7/8" for the box but including the silver lock cylinder which protrudes out the front add an extra 1/4" so a full 10 1/8". This does not include any space for inserting the key or opening the top of the box which needs additional space as the top swings up. The height of the box when closed is 7 1/4". Answer:	Great place to leave the key, your ONLY option to open it. You must’ve had cheap/zold batteries, I’ve had the same batteries for over 2 years. One word- DURACELL- That’s like keeping your spare house keys inside the house. They sell lock pick sets for cheap on the GEEK app and they work great... if you know how to pick a lock. And next time hide the key elsewhere, like in a locked jewelry box, just don’t lock it’s key inside.

Question:	After multiple attempts, Will not accept new security code. Is there a troubleshooting guide
Answer:	Its the ssme problem I have. The manual keys that comes with it doesn’t work. I really like it, size is perfect, i am thinking to return it but its so heavy, I am hoping that I will work after few more trues. Is there a troubleshooting guide.
Question:	Can this safe be bolted down
Answer:	Yes. The safe can be bolted to the ground. It comes with bolts.
Question:	We just received the safe and can't get the handle to turn using a code. It turns with the key. Do you have a suggestion
Answer:	Alright, finally figured it out. I had the same issue, all three lights turn on and you can't open the blasted thing and I misplaced my key (brilliant I know). Type in the factory code, 1-5-9 and then before you press the #, pull the handle to the right (counter-clockwise) - it won't move much and that's ok. Just as you press the # side, simultaneously move the lever to the left (clockwise). It should open 80% of the time (4/5 attempts). Nice safe, just a little too safe.
Question:	My 15 year old steals everything he can, and is good at breaking into things. Will he be able to get into this
Answer:	Yes. Cheap safes like this can be opened with pens and paperclips if done right. If the things he takes from you aren't going to his bedroom (and thus can't be truly lost), I can only surmise that you want to prevent him from selling or trading them after he steals them. If you truly want to protect your belongings in a safe, then shop for name brands like Liberty and Cannon. These manufacturers have solid reputations and produce quality products. I suggest you look specifically at "home safes" or "floor safes". Unless you're storing long guns or paintings, either of those two types are just big enough to store valuables without being grossly heavy and sizeable. Whatever safe you get, make sure to have it bolted to the floor. There's no point in wasting all that money on a box that thieves can just haul out of the house with a hand truck. The second best option is getting a safety deposit box. If you truly want to keep something from ever being stolen from you, it's the single best method of doing so outside of completely divesting yourself of all material possessions and having nothing left to steal. The most important thing you can do is help your child. One way or another, something isn't right. If good old fashioned discipline and parenting doesn't work (which it does) then you might consult a mental health professional. Remember, you may tolerate bad behavior, but society and the law will not. Whatever discipline and lessons he fails to receive when he is young, will be given later and under worse circumstances. The first person to spank him, shouldn't be his cellmate.

Question:	Is this safe cheap & Can it be easily broken by crowbar
Answer:	Yes is a cheaper safe. One Code only is allowed and if you punch wrong code in when locking your forced to use the backup key to get in.
Question:	What are the inside deminsions of the safe
Answer:	It is a large safe on the inside. Could fit two bar drawers in it. However it seemed poorly made and we kind of got what we paid for. Might be great at home but not for a commercial setting.
Question:	what does this safe weigh
Answer:	I’m not too sure now since I don’t have the original documents. From what I remember, it wasn’t all that heavy for me. I was able to carry to the second floor in my house without assistance. I’d say it was in the 50 to 75 lb range. In other words, moving this safe from room-to-room or short distances is manageable. I hope this helps you with your decision. JV
