Answer:	There wasn’t any DNA splicing if that’s what you mean. I read about this a few years ago when I started to grow the maroon. Blue Bonnets have a genetic defect that turns them maroon or white. Texas A&M isolated the maroon bonnets to get more yield. Don’t mix blue and maroon together, or your maroon plant could produce blue, or maroon and blue. Or the seeds that come off the maroon plant could be genetically correct so you would get blue flowers the next year. Has to do with cross pollination.

Answer:	I think you can use the X-back strap to hang the apron with tools in the pockets.

Answer:	Any decent un-lined leather apron should provide protection from momentary contact with hot objects (e.g. sparks and spatter). An insulating lining is needed for grabbing hot objects or other contact beyond a second or so. Answer:	I’ve only mine a few weeks so I couldn’t say for sure. Seems much more durable than other canvas aprons I’ve had in the past

Answer:	To clean:  Shake or lightly brush off dirt, saw dust, and grit with brush.  Hose off or sponge wipe with cold water only.  For stubborn spots or stains a mild bar soap, flake soap, or saddle soap may help clean specific areas. Test a small area first.  Thoroughly rinse out soap.  Let the apron air dry.
Question:	What size extender would fit to extend the strap belt (not length of extender but width of snaps
Answer:	The strap that goes around your back and snaps is plenty long enough for any waist size however the strap itself is 1 inch wide any size 1” strap connectors or “buttons” will work but, I don’t believe you will need anything like that. This is the best apron I have ever worn, zero neck fatigue as the straps go over your shoulders rather than around your neck. You wont be sorry

Answer:	I think that would depend on use. While it is slightly stiff, it hangs well and is comfortable. Because it is wax treated canvas, I hang it by the provided loop when I'm not wearing it, so it will keep its shape.

Question:	Is there any way I could get a belt about 12" longer
Answer:	I can't answer that, however the "belt" is just a 1" strap of nylon or polyester webbing. The same strap is used for the arm straps as well as the "belt". It could be easily swapped out for a new piece of any length. Also, I have 42" shoulders and 34" waist and while wearing the apron I have at least 3 feet extra strap hanging down in the way. The strap included is very long. This is a great shop apron!
Question:	Can you briefly tell me how to clean the wood glue off the apron , and do its maintenance
Answer:	Just keep wearing it and working with it on. The wood glue will eventually wear away, and will most likely fall off.

Answer:	This is a very good product but not designed for welding/metal work. This apron tends to relax after lots of use where an apron designed for metal work is a bit heavier.
Question:	In the reviews the buckle sounds like the only bad issue with this apron. Has the manufacturer considered changing the buckle
Answer:	I can't even imagine how the buckle is a bad issue with this apron. The buckle on my apron is perfection plus. Perhaps it takes 5 seconds to get in or out. It locks securely and reliably. I have the same bayonet type buckle on many of my backpack hiking gear. All perform equally perfect after years of use.

Answer:	The Ergodyne Arsenal Apron has 13 pockets in which 5 of these pockets expand out to 5 1/2 inches each.

Answer:	Not sure!!! (????) It goes from just above my nipples to just above my knees. I'm still finding pockets that I didn't know I had. I have another apron for finishing that goes from just above my nipples to far below my knees. Hope this answers your question. You won't be disappointed with this product.

Answer:	Hubby is a 40 and it fits him. The strap is VERY long for me, and I'm a 33. I "think" it would fit a 48.

Question:	Is this gas or solvent resistant
Answer:	The heavy wax on the apron will protect the wearer. Keep in mind resistance, I’ve spilled acetone and mineral spirts on it. This apron is heavily waxed and is stiff. Over time it will break-in.

Answer:	32 inches. It's a nice apron. Does the job as advertised.
Question:	Has anyone used this for welding
Answer:	Haven't used this for welding but it is a very good quality product. I love the Apron! If you have welded in cotton canvas before, this should work fine. When compared to the cheap leather welding apron from Harbor Freight I have, the HF apron is heavier and thicker. Should be more than fine for torch cutting, grinding, fab work, just not sure it can handle a lot of direct welding sparks. Very well crafted, I was so glad to have picked this one out of the many offered. Good luck!
