There is not much space for glasses. The S-950 “premium frame” provides more comfort with dual head adjustments and replaceable forehead pad. With the S-605 hood, there is knitted sock around your neck where the air exits. If you get the S-607, it has dicky that tuck into your PPE and helps cool you. There ample room with S-950 frame and S-605 hood for glasses or other optics. Air flow is adjustable, while wearing, between head crown and front visor. The S-605-10 is a case of 10 S-605s. The hood is replaceable on the S-950 frame.

Answer:	The dewalt and the makita are very close in performance. I use a makita at work and have a dewalt at home. Both are good for loose debris on a hard surface such as a work bench or concrete floors or patio. Since the batteries are the major expense I would go with whichever one matches the batteries you have. Otherwise either one is a good choice.
