Welding 6+ hours a day. It is very light which is awesome. The elite is heavy. Viewing area is a non issue. The trend has been to constantly increase window size to the point where now the sppedglas xl has a huge window at the expense of weight and they had to eliminate solar strip to make room so battery lasts only half as long. This has the standard 1.8x3.8 viewing area which is perfectly adequate. I promise you will never think to yourself, I wish i had a hood with a bigger window. It just is not an issue. I know guys say its a hobby helmet as if that's a bad thing, but I'm a professional and loved mine for years. |

That's why you have those bubbles. make sure you remove all the plastic lenz covers inside and out. |
