Answer:	I will try to explain. You unscrew the end off. There is a holder for three AAA batteries inside the case. Turn it upside down and shake it and it will fall out. You can tell how to slide the batteries in. Then, screw the end back on and turn it on by pushing on the soft end. I hope this is okay. I didn't have directions either. I just messed with it until I found out how. I think they should include instructions with it.

In fact, getting them wet seems to help them break-in better - which unlike every other style of Mechanix gloves I've owned, these are extremely uncomfortable gloves at first. Took a good week before they stopped hurting my hands. I'm going to try the non-impact Genuine Leather version or their 4x Material Mpact next time.
