Answer:	Dear Jane Thank you for your interest. You mean that the light is fading? If yes, than the batteries are fading and you can replace them. When you open the Magnifier on the backside there is a lid. Unscrew them and underneath you will find the batteries to replace. Use CR1130 Batteries and place them as shown on the instruction and the light will be back on. Answer:	Dear Peggy Thank you for your inquiry about the small magnifyin glass. As for the batteries, it is VERY important that you place the batteries exactly like shown in the instruction manual. Batteries have a Plus + and a minus - Pol and they have to be placed correctly. Otherwise the led light of the magnifying glass will not work. Answer:	The nose piece is rubber (or the like) and slides off and on a set of plastic pins either side of the nose which facilitates cleaning. I have worn safety glasses over thirty years and have not owned a pair as comfortable to wear as these. The thirty years is why I had to purchase the reading glasses.

Answer:	These Glasses have three important features built into one. The 1) LED illumination lighting, 2) the protective safety plastic, and 3) which is the 2.0 cheater-like magnification. The latter I believe is what you desire. So the answer is yes. I love them and I have three pairs. Being near 60 years of age I had to juggle a pair of safety glasses over my cheaters glasses with a forehead LED light. Now I just throw these on and I am ready to Go! Hope this helps.
