Answer:	They have changed the glue used for labels. I have used & bought these bowls for years. Label & glue used to be fairly easy to remove. The ones bought in the last few months have had a different glue which has been almost impossible to remove. I have tried Dawn, very hot water, scrubbing, vinegar, alcohol, mineral oil, olive oil, 7th Generation cleaners, Mayo...nothing has worked yet. Someone recommend Goo Gone which may work HOWEVER this is very toxic (not to be swallowed, with toxic fumes to lungs & skin--"call poison control center if exposed") so I do not recommend it for removalof labels from inside of food bowls. The jury is still out on how to safely remove these stickers/residues. The wonderful stainless steel bowls are being made unusable due to the new glue/sticker system used inside the bowls HOPEFULLY THE MANUFACTOR WILL CHANGE BACK OR FIND A MORE REMOVABLE SYSTEM FOR THEIR LABELS. I may have to return the newest batch of these bowls because of impossible to non-toxically remove the label/glue residues from inside bowls. If I find anything which does work I will update.
