Answer:	Hello, we do not have instructions or knowledge of how to lengthen the wire. The warranty will be voided if product is altered or tampered with. Thanks

Answer:	The unit I have attaches via adhesive. Bottom Line: neither magnetic or adhesive makes any difference. You want the sensor to be as low on the ground as you can get it so it reads water at the first appearance. I used extreme tape over my sensor to force the unit to stay flat on the ground at the lowest point (my garage has a little dip in the cement floor). If you have magnetic and it causes the sensor to sit 1/8" off the ground, you will have a lot of water loss before the alarm goes off. An adhesive patch could also lift the sensor off the ground by 1/16" also.

Question:	Can it connect to WiFi
Answer:	2-1/2" X 1" X 1/8" plastic plate. there are 2 metal discs a little smaller than a dime fixed to that plate. There is a 10 feet long wire would up inside the case that attaches the sensor to the case. The case has 2 holes on the back to mount on wall if you want to do that. There are two mounting holes in the sensor plastic plate if you want to mount that, such as with any tiny screws you happen to have. The instructions say you can splice up to 100 feet of wire onto the 10 feet wire in order to have the alarm somewhere far away from where the sensors are placed. Teeny tiny wire is OK to use since the voltage is only 9 volts.

Answer:	For the price, why splice wires, the leads can be extended to 6 feet. What I would recommend is to place the sensor on a sheet of paper towel. Any moisture will wick up to the contacts. Also you can cover a bigger area where just a corner of the paper towel will transfer the liquid by capillary action to the contacts.

Question:	which works best for condensation on the furnace -air handler
Answer:	Although this is a question best answered by First alert, I believe that once it is synced with other modules it only sends a notification to other modules when you either push the test button or an actual alarm triggers a signal to be sent. Anything else would likely cause excess battery drain for no reason.
Question:	Is it water proof? Meaning if it is submerged in several inches of water can it be reused
Answer:	I mixed sa511 smoke with voice and sco500 smoke and co with voice and all work fine together

Answer:	Here is the wording from the instructions: The communication distance (range) between any two ONELINK® Alarms is typically 50 feet (15 meters) inside of a home. Some features of a home, such as the number of floors, number/size of rooms, furniture and types of building materials used may reduce the range of the Alarms. Examples include: suspended ceilings, ductwork, large metallic appliances (refrigerators) and metal studs. A feature of ONELINK® Alarms is that they operate as a mesh network. All Alarms will repeat any alarm signal that is received to all other ONELINK® Alarms. Answer:	They should, I have 4 units and was able to get them all connected. It took me a few times at the beginning because I was not fast enough.

Answer:	This sensor came with the battery glued in so hard I couldn’t get it out. It wasn’t hooked up and when I tried to move the battery I broke one of the small wires off and so it never worked. I would say find a different make and model
Question:	I'm going to guess this little copper looking piece needs to be on the floor where water might be? Zero instructions

Question:	can more than one detecter be set up from one house to the same wifi alert app
Answer:	It works on the fact that water is a conductor, so a continuous layer of water touching the 2 sensors will complete the electric circuit and sound the alarm. So it depends on how wet your carpet is. If the carpet is wet enough for the water layer to be continuous, then it should sound the alarm, but if it's not wet throughout the carpet, then it won't. (Based on my general knowledge.)
Question:	Can siren be turned off? Wifi detection/notification only
Answer:	My bug did the same thing after 3 months. It sounds like the new batteries you bought are not new. I had mine under my dishwasher where it was hard to get to so I just quit using mine and got another leak detector that is supposed to only turn on the alarm if they dissolve.I don't think these leak bugs are worth having.
