Answer:	The back of the flashlight unscrews (a cap), which then exposes 2 screws, which then allows you to get to the internals. The O-ring is used for that cap, I guess to keep water out. It doesn't fit that well though. It doesn't affect the flashlight itself in any way.

Answer:	This flashlight does not come with batteries You'll need to purchase 4 - 3.7V 18650 batteries I bought Orbtronic - buy a charger to match the brand of batteries you buy - the charging cycle is critical. Do not leave these batteries unattended during charging.

Answer:	The batteries I bought are no longer available so there is no exact link. All I can tell you is that the batteries are 18650, 9,900 mAh. The charger that I bought with the batteries is the Eastshine S4 (it works great).

Question:	The description says "w/flow alarm." I don't see any evidence of an alarm in the photos. What kind of low-flow alarm does it have
Answer:	The unit is very fragile and I returned the item when I purchased it from Amazon. I recommend that you do the same. It uses a sensor that consist of two pieces of metal with a small space between them. When water is present the electrical resistance between the two metal pieces goes down setting of the alarm. Unfortunately this crude sensor is easily damaged by normal handling which can cause the space between metal strips to close making the alarm think that water is present. I wound up buying the GE sensor which costs about the same amount of money and is far more rugged.

Answer:	It is divided into two states: open and closed. It has two different colors divided into purple light and red light. Violet light can detect whether there is cat moss by illuminating the cat. Question:	What if i’d like to use more than 2 units? how can i add more, if i have multiple properties to manage
Answer:	StreamLabs finally put out an update to allow the app to add/monitor more than 2 devices up to a maximum of 5. However, they now charge $5.99 a month rent to utilize more than 2 monitors for life. You buy the device for $199 and then pay them rent each month to use it forever. (assuming you wish to add a 3rd, 4th or 5th unit to the account as in multiple properties to monitor). Sad as this is a great product and instead of urging customer to buy more, they penalize them and incentivize the customer to NOT buy additional units.
Question:	How small of a leak can it detect? Can it detect a dripping faucet
Answer:	The Monitor can detect flows as low as 0.25gpm on Copper-M, CPVC, and PEX pipes. The lowest it can detect on Copper-L is 0.5gpm. Typically a dripping faucet is too low of a flow rate for the Monitor to detect.
Question:	Is the company working on making the historical usage data more robust? Making it so an owner can see the usage over a period of months or even a year

Answer:	According to customer service at Kidde, the FireX FADC reccomended Kidde replacement options are the i4618, the i5000 and the i12060, with the i4618 and i5000 being the preferred models. However other people at Kidde say that practically all Kidde's will replace the FADC, but you may have to swap the wiring harness, pretty simple if you can run a breaker box and a wire nut. I would call the help desk at 1-800-888-6788 to verify your present situation. Make sure you have the model NFO, of course, and the manufacturing date stamped on the back.

Answer:	Although this is a question best answered by First alert, I believe that once it is synced with other modules it only sends a notification to other modules when you either push the test button or an actual alarm triggers a signal to be sent.
