User questions & answers

Question: Is there a way to get the power supply to also hardwire these
Answer: I suppose the battery life would depend upon how often it is used. I open my safe rarely but some might do it daily, thus affecting battery life. On the outside of the lock, there is a rubber-covered set of contact to which a 9-volt battery can be applied. This will allow the mechanism to be activated should the internal batteries be depleted. The key, by the way, is used as an additional lock but is optional. The electronic lock must be used. The key cannot be substituted instead of the electronic lock. The electonic lock is always in effect. The key is additional locking and if locked, the electronic lock alone will not open the safe.
Question: Works on 220v
Answer: Metal.... great safe, holds a lot - we purchased another tray for small iteams and it did not hinder the space at all...
Question: Why does it say in the Technical Information that batteries are not required
Answer: Yes, I too found the safe puzzling to open.
Question: I do not see onelink anywhere on the unit. will this link with my older first alert onelink units
Answer: My recollection is that the factory code is unique per safe. I'd suggest contacting the company. They may be able to help.

User questions & answers

Question: Are these alarms compatible with the ring alarm system
Answer: No
Question: Are they supposed to all go off if you test one? If not, how do you know if they're interconnected
Answer: I bought this and use it with an early 2013 Macbook Pro Retina 13". It works fine for this, but I'm not 100% sure the lower body will cooperate with the thinner vessel of the October 2013 model. Wait a little while and see if Kuzy releases an updated case; they tend to release products with Macbook specifics quite speedily!
Question: If I get another set, will these be automatically interconnected with my first set, exact same model
Answer: I am not exactly sure about the size of the shade, but it is easily changed as long as the substitute allows you to secure it using the bulb.

First Alert Smoke Detector Alarm | Battery Powered with Wireless Interconnect | 2-Pack, SA511CN2-3ST

FIRST ALERT

Based on 865 reviews Check latest price

Product description

The First Alert SA511CN2-3ST Interconnected Wireless Smoke Alarm with Voice Location features an 85-decibel siren and voice alarm that tells you where the danger is located. A photoelectric sensor detects smoke while minimizing false alarms from cooking or shower steam. Interconnected smoke detectors in different locations are designed to work together, with one alarm triggering the other alarm during a fire, helping to provide the earliest warning for your family.

From the Manufacturer

In the event of a fire every second counts. If a fire were to begin in your basement and the alarm there sounded, you may not hear it right away if you're sound asleep two floors up. With traditional battery-operated alarms, you lose valuable time waiting for the smoke to rise to another alarm, on another level, before the alarm on your floor sounds. But with First Alert ONELINK alarms, if one detects danger, they all sound. This can alert you sooner, and it increases your chances of getting out safely. Until now, alarms that could signal each other were only available in homes with hardwired alarms requiring installation from an electrician. But First Alert ONELINK alarms communicate without wires. ONE Link-with Voice Location Smoke alarm is programmable with up to 11 locations in your home - when alarm sounds it will tell you the location of the smoke. The wireless feature allows multiple alarms to talk to each other - when one alarm sounds, they all sound. The wireless network operates on 914 MHZ 3 channels and will not interfere with other electronics. The ONELINK smoke alarms uses photoelectric sensing technology which is environmentally friendlier and which reduces nuisance alarms, making it ideal for cooking areas. It is also great for sensing slow smoldering fires quickly. A low battery signal alerts you to replace the battery. The test/silence button both silences a non-threatening alarm or low battery warning and allows you to test the unit's functionality. The AA batteries are easy to install in the convenient pullout battery drawer. Two AA batteries included.

  • Help keep your family safe with these battery operated smoke alarms that wirelessly interconnect with each other and other First Alert enabled alarms so that all sound when one is activated, creating a home safety network; comes in a pack of 2 alarms
  • Voice alarm with 11 programmable locations tells you where the danger is so you can choose the best evacuation route; Loud, 85-decibel siren sounds to alert you to danger
  • Equipped with photoelectric smoke sensor optimized to detect larger smoke particles produced by smoldering fires; Helps minimize the number of false alarms
  • Battery powered alarm requires no rewiring for installation and provides continued monitoring even if there's a power failure; use with Polaroid AA batteries for best results
  • Wirelessly connect upto 18 first alert enabled alarms for the maximum in whole home protection; includes test/silence button, low battery warning, end of life timer
  • First Alert has been the most trusted brand in home safety since launching the first residential smoke alarm in 1958 (Based on a First Alert Brand Trust Survey in February 2018)

User questions & answers

Question: is the wireless signal constant or only during an alarm
Answer: No, they are battery operated. The 9 volt batteries are included with the alarms.
Question: Can i pair these smoke detectors with the co/smoke detectors of the same brand (firstalert). i don't need everywhere co detectors which cost more
Answer: No, they are battery operated. The 9 volt batteries are included with the alarms.
Question: What is the max distance the units can be apart and still communicate with each other
Answer: I bought one in 2012. I have changed the batteries once, about five years ago. Thought it was due for a change now but it has reached the end of its ten-year "life" after seven years. To be fair, the sticker indicates it was manufactured in April of 2010, so it was on a shelf for two years, making it nine years old.
Question: If i buy three of these double packs will they all connect
Answer: I’m using these to replace the wired units from the same manufacturer. They fit the same mount. Two units never worked right, and a third less than seven years old just stopped working. I don’t know if they were wired properly or not to begin with, so I’m going with these ones.

User questions & answers

Question: Does this product have to be mounted
Answer: The turrets on the E1 will not feature a true "zero stop". They have a resettable numbered collar that you can align with zero when you are done making adjustments.
Question: Can anyone tell me how far apart the screw holes are in the back? Trying to find one that matches what I have
Answer: No bikini cover, no caps.
Question: What is the detector life time? Is it 10 years? When was this batter made
Answer: Yes this will fit with a low height rings on a Remington 700! I have one mounted on a Remington 700 bdl
Question: of 5 product photos on this listing are of a mini-fridge, not a CO deterctor? Does not give me much confidence in seller if listing is not correct
Answer: Me owning both a 44mm and a 50mm I’d say if you want one for lower light go 50mm. I’ve heard that it doesn’t matter but like I said i have both.. the 50mm you can see earlier in the morning and later into the night.. only down side is if your facing a sun rise or a sun down the 50mm absorbs to much light causing a glare.. you can buy a screw in extender that takes care of that tho.. hope That helped
Question: How often does it need calibration and what is the cost? Thanks you
Answer: This is an amazing scope. Like the others have said handling a 416 rigby and a 338 win mag itll hold up to the 7.62x39 for sure. I know ur thinking probably about the continual jarring of a semi automatic but this scope holds up just fine. Best thing is u cant go wrong with vortexes warranty. I have two a 2-7x32 on my 375 HH, and a 3-9x40 on my .30.06, and only had one issue on the 3-9x40 from a shooting trip after i got it home i guess it got knocked around too hard and there was like dirt inside of the glass. I called vortex they sent me a sgipping label and said well fix it ir replace it and in a week or two i got my scope back good as new. I love vortex the scopes are great, and the customer service cant be beat.
Question: What is the accuracy
Answer: The scope does not come with flip up scope covers. I purchased Butler Creek ones and they work great. For the eye piece go with size 14-15-16 (their sizing is weird) and for the objective go with 13-15. They work great and I have no complaints.
Question: Can this test flue stack co
Answer: FriendThe scope attaches to ar15 and any other W/ 22mm Rail Mount Picatinny Rail.Usually it will fit your gun, if your AR-15 556 has an elevated front sight you may need to purchase a piccany riser to elevate the scope or remove the front sight. I hope this answers will help you.
Question: What is the life of the sensor
Answer: Buy an elevator rail and you can see sights need 1.5 inch. Measure first I got 1" not enogh. Scope is awesome.
