It's functional but due to the cheap construction and materials both of mine broke internally before the 1st set of batteries ran out. Think of it as a toy and you won't be disappointed.

Answer:	I measured mine at home with a lux meter app over a fixed area and did some calculations to find that it puts out roughly 600 lumens on the highest setting, which is consistent with the estimate of 10 watt LED = 40 watt incandescent bulb = 600 or so lumens. If you're wondering whether that's good, bad, in-between... It's not 1000 obviously but it's definitely in the range of tactical/defense flashlights, and is great for this price and size. For reference, most cheap flashlights for everyday indoor use are under 100, most camping/outdoor flashlights that aren't "tactical" or otherwise unique fall in the 100 - 400 range, a 75-watt bulb tends to be around 1100, and a single car headlight tends to be around 1300. Of course, I tested one light with rather imprecise, unscientific equipment so your mileage may vary and whatnot.

Question:	what kind of batteries does it take
Answer:	Not sure if USA made or not but I would NOT recommend this flashlight. Too many adjustments need to be made with the plastic ring for button pressure and light level sensitivity. More trouble than it’s worth. I would not buy this flashlight again.
Question:	Does it come with the colored lenses
Answer:	His exposure is very exaggerated, and the center of the aperture can reach 3000Ft. If it is not a professional outdoor player, this flashlight is too bright for them. The flashlight shell itself has very good heat dissipation and does not feel warm
Question:	I know that this flashlight is made for d and aa batteries with a conv. kit. but in a pinch can i use two c batteries
Answer:	Try this simple test, turn on strobe, look directly into the light for no more than a second. Now imagine your a bad guy would you want that in your face??? The strobe is not a gimmick but a good high lumens strobe flashlight is one of the best "non lethal" protection devices on the market. It gives you the advantage to get away from the situation. A truly high-lumen tactical flashlight that strobes people or animals and gives you some time to evacuate.
Question:	Anyone know of any drop in (without modding) LED kits for this
Answer:	Yes, I took my led bulb out of my mag light that uses two D cell batteries and put it in this flash light. It works great.
