This spot measures roughly 8 inches in diameter at 3 feet, and maybe 2 feet in diameter at 10 feet. For what it's worth, I carry one of these everywhere, and has been very helpful to my aging eyes. With intermittent use, the single AAA can go a week or two (maybe more). Love these! Don't know if I helped at all, but I gave it my best shot.

Answer:	Yes the battery can be replaced but not by a novice. Wahl recommends that the rechargeable nickel-cadmium batteries in this unit be replaced by Wahl and not the user. If you are a mechanical or electronically oriented person you may be able to do it yourself. But let me say this. My Wahl 9918-6171 unit arrived on 8/30/13. I charged it overnight and then disconnected from the cord and have been using it as a cordless trimmer ever since it's first use on 8/31/13. I have yet to recharge it and it is still working today 9/16/13 as well as the first time that I used it. If at some future date the charge of this cordless unit is too low when I go to use it - NO PROBLEM - I will just plug it in and use it as a corded trimmer and after using it leave it plugged in to recharge. Answer:	Well it depends on how far away the light is..... But in a general sense it has a pretty wide beam. They eat up batteries though.

Answer:	If you are looking at the same lights as I am (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07ZZNVKKV?ref_=pe_527950_33920290_dpLink ) it doesn't say it is rechargeable. It works as a regular night light normally and if the power goes off it will switch to AA batteries and keep the night lite on. The article says the batteries have a life of about 250 hours. Since it uses regular AA batteries they might need to be replaced probably once every year or so. I can tell you from experience that they are nice to have in case the power goes off at night. Answer:	No, you can’t. The gas should coming out of the pipes not under vacuum. You need to charge the system with Nitrogen then use this product to find the leak.
