Answer:	The LED in this flashlight is advertised as a CREE XHP70. That means this light CANNOT achieve 5,000 lumens. According to the spec sheet for the XHP70, found on the CREE website, the maximum lumens for the XHP70 is 4,022 lumens. Moreover, all LEDs of the same model are "binned", according to actual characteristics. In order to keep the price of the flashlight down, most manufacturers buy from the lower bins, meaning that the LED will not achieve that max. But even if it has an XHP70 from a lower bin, it's still going to be almost twice as bright as an XHP50 (2546 lumens max) and more than 4 times as bright as a T6 (≈1,000 lumens max). The XHP70 is the brightest LED on the market (today), capable of being used in flashlights. It should be super bright… just not 5,000 lumens. Also, the lumens will drop, when using AAA batteries, since they cannot supply the high current necessary to run this LED at full brightness. Answer:	I thought the same and did it many times, only to find out no you don’t. Just press and hold the on/off/cycle button and the “setting” it is in will go off. And when you press the on button again it will be in the “cycle” you left. It would be nice if that was in the instructions.

Answer:	A plastic slider is on one side on the tubing. The bad news is that it popped off and I ended up just not putting it back on the tubing to keep it folded. For us, it did not matter and make life easier for us not to have it. Mom has it open and in use or sitting nearby if she is seated. I only close it when I am putting it in or out of the minivan. I lay the rollator flat and not in a standing position. If I had a different vehicle that had to have the rollator in a standing up position yet also closed, then I guess I would have to either replace the slider or use a bunge cord to keep it closed. The rollator is really nice. We love it and would buy it again. It was a good choice for our needs.

Answer:	It only has 2 brightness levels, but you do not need to cycle through them to turn it off. Short press changes mode...Long press of about a second cuts it off. Very simple and basic. I would suggest that you get 14500 batteries for the added brightness. I really do like the light for its convenience. It has a combination beam with a brighter center spot and reasonable flood. The magnet is convenient at times.

Answer:	As usual, "it depends." If you use 3, AAA alkaline batteries, there's nothing to charge. If you use Ni-cad or Ni-MH AAA batteries, they would have to be charged before use. If you use an 18650, which are Lithium-ion, it would have to be charged as well. All of the rechargeable batteries would require a separate charger, as none are included with the flashlights.
Question:	What are the differences between the E07 and newer versions E10 and E
Answer:	Obviously it's an exaggeration. They put 1800 lumens in there because they know that 90% of the people considering them haven't a clue as to how bright 1800 lumens is. REAL 1800 lumen lights have either an XP-L HI LED or perhaps an XHP35.
Question:	What mount would I use to attach to a rifle
Answer:	Cheap flashlights of this type do not have working voltages higher than 4 volts! Evidently you seem to have a better knowledge of lithium batteries than the average person who buys a light like this. 16340's are usually better suited to single battery flashlights. Most (quality) 18650 lights can accept 2 - 16340's or 2 - CR123's without an issue, because their working voltage is usually around 8.4 That's not usually the case with "budget" lights.
Question:	How can I ensure that when I turn the flashlight off when I am on moonlight, it comes back on in moonlight and not the low setting
Answer:	The plastic tube is a protector for the 18650 battery. The 18650 battery is narrower than the flashlight, so you need the use the plastic tube to avoid battery shaking. Because without the plastic tube, the 18650 battery can still work , so we say that you can put the battery in with or without it.

Operation:



Turn On /Off

Press the tail switch halfway to momentarily activate the light. Click the tail switch to turn the light on and off.

Change modes

With the light turns on, press the side switch to circle through five different mode outputs from Firefly, Low, Medium, High, and Turbo. 

One key to Strobe

With the light on, press and hold the side switch for about 1 second to enter into Strobe mode (12.5HZ), and a single press the side switch will return to the last mode before Strobe.

ITC Technology

The light will automatically lower the current when temperature in LED or driver rises to 80 degrees centigrade to protect the flashlight from overheating, thus extending its lifespan.

Battery Replacement

Take off the tail cap, insert the battery with the anode (+) toward the LED assembly (head of the light), screw the tail on and tighten it all the way to operate the light.
