Then, be sure that that battery holder end with the dimple is at the bottom of the flashlight. Note: An Amazon Basics battery caused some corrosion on the negative spring side of one of my flashlights. The electrical connection to the battery holder is just mechanical so the corrosion is very difficult to cure.
