Answer:	Yes, it needs to be wired with 12v dc. You might talk to an electrician to see where it can be wired. Maybe install a plug that you can plug in the unit.

Answer:	If I recall correctly, it is approximately 4 feet long. I would measure it, but I returned it because the application didn’t work as advertised.

Question:	Says waterproof, bit can it be used for scuba diving
Answer:	While OFF, 2 clicks then hold. This takes you to the strobes. There are five strobe functions. Candlelight, bike flasher, party strobe, tactical strobe, lightening storm. To cycle between these, double click. I like lightening and candle. To change brightness of candle or lightening, press and hold, to go up or down. To access blinkies, press 3 times rapidly, when flashlight is off. There are 4 blinkers. Battery check, sunset, beacon, temperature check. As in strobes, 2 fast clicks will cycle through the blinkie modes. You can choose stepped or ramped mode for main light. Just fast click 3 times when flashlight is ON, to cycle between stepped or ramped. Search "Anduril UI" (user interface) for flashlights on the web. It will give you a map diagram that shows all of this. The SP36 BLF has Anduril as its operating UI. Have fun! It's a very nice and feature packed light! Hope this helps.

Answer:	It is not an option from the factory. It is possible that someone is doing custom work, but I haven't seen that. The lighted button actually had the same function as the aux lights.

Answer:	Never thought much about this and two of the descriptors puzzle me a bit, but here goes: Seems to me to be somewhat of a flood effect, with a bit brighter but fuzzy hot spot. This spot measures roughly 8 inches in diameter at 3 feet, and maybe 2 feet in diameter at 10 feet. For what it's worth, I carry one of these everywhere, and has been very helpful to my aging eyes. With intermittent use, the single AAA can go a week or two (maybe more). Love these! Don't know if I helped at all, but I gave it my best shot.

Question:	What batteries are included, and how long is the battery life
Answer:	It should probably say 9000 - nothing short of a giant multi cell $600 light like the Imalent MS18 can come even close to 90,000 lumens. That being said, its very doubtful this light hits 9000 even. Guessing at the LED's used, the batteries supplied and the size, I would guess more like 2500-3000 lumens.

Answer:	The zoom feature does not have to be used which is like not having a zoom feature.
Question:	Does it take any aa batteries ? ( alkaline and zinc carbon
Answer:	On average, I get about 5-6 hours on low before the it gets noticeably & rapidly dimmer. I won't test a bright light's run times on high. Running these types of lights continuously on high for a long time tends to wear out the phosphors inside, making the gradually become a little dimmer each time. Not only that, but running them at high for a long time makes the LED & electronics run hotter. That shortens the lifetime of the LED, & electronics a lot, & you may risk burning your lights out if they get too warm. In a power failure or off-grid situation, running them on low to make the battery last longer, is still plenty bright enough for most night situations.
Question:	Does the light turn back on to the same mode that it was in when it was turned off? Other lights force you to cycle every time it's turned on and off

Answer:	I just got my Kootek 5 pack of flashlights. First, they are the GREATEST!!! No really, they have an adjustable focus, high beam, low beam and flashing beam and they are built solidly tough. Now for the question about the battery: I use the AA battery and it provides all you can ask for. From what I've read about the 14500, yes they should provide an edge in brightness but with prolonged use, they are said to become extremely overheated, to the possibility of damaging the flashlight. Stick with the AA's and you won't be sorry.

Answer:	It would get really warm after an hour anything less was fine. It was never to the point I had to let it go. I've had other brands that would feel you can cook an egg on, I never had that problem with this one

Answer:	With no directions included I can only say that it took mine approx. 2 hrs to charge, and the green light came on once the charge was complete.
